I remember seeing her on My 600 LB Life. I am absolutely AMAZED at her success! Congratulatiouns!
Was she the one with the husband who had a obesity fetish and was constantly trying to sabotage her.
"I'm risking my life to save my life."
Wow. This woman is such a fighter!
I was 204, now I’m 187. I have a long way to go but I won’t give up. ❤
You're doing great so far, that's a lot of weight you've already lost. Good luck.
Good job! :)
good job 👏
plz dont keep pushing its gonna be worth it
Your doing such a good job don't give up ❤❤❤
she turned out to be a beautiful girl trapped in that body. I'm thankful she lost the weight while she was still very young and not only had the chance to be a young, beautiful woman, but can now have the REST of her life at a healthy weight, able to do anything she wants. really a great success story for this show.
Yes
She wasn’t trapped in any body she did that to herself by eating her life away no one’s fault but her own she is lucky she didn’t pass away before she got on this show honestly
@@grim_reaper7997While what you are saying is true. Young people that get that heavy are either surrounded by permissive or discouraging type people.
@@grim_reaper7997 Every obese person knows that it's their own fault.
The only blameless ones are small children who had neglectful parents who overfed them.
@@icebox1954 no way for a kid not to know unless they are homeschooled,
Cause I guarantee every other kids going to tell them
People who say they can't lose weight should take a look at this lady she is an inspiration well done babe xx
But she had surgery dear.
it’s because she had surgery 🗿
@@sukaynaalyraza3973surgery is not easy too. Stop judging.
@@nut2611what do you mean stop judging? They literally stated the truth . That’s not judging. The only reason she lost weight is weight loss surgery and surgical skin removal l
@@sukaynaalyraza3973she could've done it without surgery it just takes multiple years
She did great. She looks so healthy and beautiful now.
lol it’s her fault she was huge and it’s her job to get surgery to suck the fat out 😂 imagine just exercise and get of your ass and she wouldn’t have all that nasty left over skin and her face wouldn’t be fat either
Oh please with that back handed compliment. Only if you people could be this nice when these types of people are at their worse they wouldn’t get so big !
@@OhitzHurr.x_xhow is that a back handed compliment ? Its the truth your not beautiful at fucken 600 pounds. If your saying they are your lying. But since she put all that hard work in she is beautiful now and it’s awesome she’s healthy and pretty. I bet your projecting and not at a healthy weight rn ?
@@OhitzHurr.x_xback handed? She was around 500lbs on the erdge of dying. And she struggled with body image issues even after the weight loss. So yes she looks better is is healthier now. 500 pounds ain’t healthy. And it’s definitely not pretty.
Not discrediting her progress but her new body isn’t healthy either if you watch the episode when she came back for skin removal surgery she was very underweight her bones were sticking out and she said she only eats 500 cal a day
Truly an accomplishment that she should pride herself and part herself on the back
I’m crying happy tears for this Young Woman.
I'm so proud of her
Job well done sister 😅😅👏👏
for having a surgery?
@@mohit5709I've watch the show for a couple of times now. You need to lose a certain amount of weight before being approved of surgery, and overcoming addiction is hard so.. yeah :3
@@mohit5709For loosing that much weight and staying healthy. It's so hard to even loose 1 kg
Amazingly , you’ve just saved your life .
You are a very pretty lady .
Now start living , perhaps encourage others 🥰
Totally agree with your comment.
Everyone’s acting like she didn’t do this to herself like calm down she is the only reason she was huge In the first place wait until her next boyfriend breaks up with her and she’s right back to the same weight lol
@@grim_reaper7997yes it was her fault that she gained weight, but she did what she had to do and lost the weight which can be hard physically and mentally. Sure she wouldn’t have had to go through that if she hadn’t gained the weight in the first place but things happen and she took accountability of her mistakes and turned her life back around.
@@grim_reaper7997based on your comments im starting to think your probably obese too ngl
I saw her story on My 600 Pound Life. She really has done an amazing job and deserves alot of credit. That kind of transformation and weight loss isn't easy, even with weight loss surgery.
No she don’t deserve any credit she is the only one to blame for her weight so it’s her job to loose it, she would be screwed if she grew up 100 years ago
@@grim_reaper7997You are a disgrace and a disgusting piece of crap! I hope you are enjoying life as a perfect super model and if not it is because you are to lazy to get there! Doubtful you have ever accomplished what this young lady has but it truly must be refreshing to be as judgemental and perfect as you.
@@grim_reaper7997get a life bro
@@grim_reaper7997 At 22 so much of that had to be the parents. Nobody gets that big in a couple years. If kids grow up being fed improperly, they're not going to know how to eat healthy, what proportions are normal, or how to have a healthy relationship with food.
I'd guess a big reason she was successful was because she was still so young and able to learn how to eat properly since she didn't have the skills before.
When you see a fat child, do you think "wow, that kid has no self control" or do you think, "that poor kid is not being given the right food"? How is a kid supposed to eat healthy if there's nothing in the house but processed, sugary foods?
@@grim_reaper7997100 years ago? In 1924? Circumstances were totally different. An average middle class American wouldn’t have gotten that big in 1924 because food wasn’t as fast and commercialized and amped up with sugar, salt, and fat as it is now. Although food scarcity when the market crashed in 5 years might have helped her out if she was overweight lol
Anyway, modern problems; modern solutions. This is a problem that can only exist today and a solution that follows
She actually developed an eating disorder on the opposite spectrum when losing weight. She’d only drink shakes instead of eating post op, dr was greatly concerned, that’s why he told her to put weight back on as she’d gone too far. In fact, I recon she will always struggle with disordered eating & this goes to show that regardless of what end of the spectrum you are, ED’s are psychological & need long term psychological support. (And yet, she gets praised for becoming underweight.. bullied for being super morbidly obese.. that’s how fcked society is & how it plays into peoples psyche), she’s done brilliantly but I’d be concerned for her long term, bless her x
@YoungXelDong Because she was so big & had the gastric bypass, it does eliminate the food hunger cues. For most people they do return, which, when you have an eating disorder, is when the battle comes into play - resisting food when you’ve got a food addiction is very, very difficult. However, she ended up sticking to the liquid diet that Dr Now put her on post surgery, so rather than going onto solids, she stuck to protein shakes to get the protein into her, so she was dropping too much weight too fast, that’s when Dr Now realised what she was doing. I believe she was scared to reintroduce food because of her original eating disorder, scared to go back to how she was. This is why it’s so important to include long term psychotherapy with patients. People just think patients on my 600lb life are nothing but gluttons but that’s far from the truth, they have a genuine addiction, it’s no different to drugs, alcohol, gambling etc - unfortunately it’s a substance that can’t be avoided, & they have to learn to navigate a life they never have before with much smaller portions, so although their body is telling them one thing, their mind is telling them another.
Also important to remember that many weight loss patients do lose a significant amount of weight, & within a few years of reaching their smallest size, their body ‘settles’ to a size or two larger, that’s also very normal.
It was sad to see her go through eating disorders at opposite ends of the spectrum though & just goes to show how easy it is to swap one addiction out for another.
I had a friend that had gastric bypass that had to set timers to eat after the surgery because she never got hungry. It's not like an eating disorder as much as a nervous system disorder. This girl could have the same problem.
@@somedude5637 No, this one developed an eating disorder. Very different to what you’re stating. It was heavily documented on the show.
Good for you. I know how you feel.i had gastric bypass years ago.Best thing ever.
This. This right here is body positivity. Hats off to this lady gents.
Body positivity isnt saying "my cancer is beautiful" it is saying "my bald head is beautiful".
I mean to say even at 600lbs a person can, and should, feel beautiful. Because every person, even at 80 years old, is beautiful.
That is body positivity.
That’s exactly the point. Obesity isn’t beautiful but she got better and that’s a positive thing

She's not beautiful. Stop abusing these words.
@@DrJ-hx7wvthat’s a matter of your opinion. You do not have the right to tell someone there opinion on someone’s beauty is wrong. 1st off people have different taste and are not as shallow as others 2nd of all there are different beauty standards across cultures. Lastly that’s there opinion you can disagree without telling them they’re wrong because that’s your opinion, but it’s an opinion no one is going to be right or wrong here. Just a reminder that people who are obese like this lose weight much faster because it’s more strenuous to move your body around when you get that big
Just change your diet lol, it’s easy.
@@Metal_junkyou do know it’s not 100% what you eat
80% is diet
60% excercise
And 40% workout
You know nothing about bodies lmao
@@Metal_junkNo it's not always this easy. People can have health disorders, be on medication that causes hunger, and a variety of other obstacles. Don't be so smug.
As a guy who grew up obese and finally turned everything around its makes me happy to see others find that strength in themselves to push forward

She is living proof it can absolutely be done if you stop using “trauma” as an excuse for everything! We’ve all had it but chose not to abuse food or drugs or commit crimes!!

The team is MORE than aware of that and monitors her cardiac, Resp, and Circulatory health all thru the process as well as for up to a year afterwards...I worked on a post op cardiac team and we dealt with people that lost large amounts of weight as well as post surgical patients.

To anyone that says “just go to the gym and stop eating poorly!” When you’re that heavy your body is slowly shutting down. It’s hard to even move an inch. Some people get the surgery because they need that help, they need that extra boost so they can eat healthy and go to the gym or go on a walk. They also need that boost for confidence to actually keep working hard.
