Being Helen must feel like a psychological horror. A strange green man with hundreds of voices in his head captures you, changes your name, forces you to work, has strange delusions about working at a company and you doing accounting, and flips between threatening to eat you and praising you for doing accounting (which you were not doing)
This just seems like every normal person encountering a real life slimecicle

the hardest part of this is the fact that palworld is heavily built around catching not killing, hence why you get exp bonuses for catching
so is pokemon legends arceus tbh can still nuzlocke that fine so should be good

@@AMV_KINGDOM_mv That, and the fact that palworld caps your pal's levels, so that they're equal to yours. Which means you can't grind them up like how you would in pokemon
That's why I think Charlie should've gone into the world settings and upped the XP multiplier, so he wouldn't have to catch a bunch of stuff while saying "this doesn't count"

In all fairness, I forgot about the Tutorial Human since his first playthrough, too.
Partially because Horpus was far more memorable.
Personally, I wouldn't have counted the human. Not only did he not have his pal sphere yet, he also didn't really need to count the human as a pal.
@@theantagonist801 Yeah, but it makes sense because you CAN catch people in this game and anything you catch in a sphere is treated as pal, and you can do anything to them you can do to a pal, so, technically, it counts :)

Escaping the cops is not always possible. Fast travel doesn't work, because the police will even teleport with you into a boss room.
We fought some cops off and got assault charges after defending ourself, after that they would chase us for half an hour before we decided to let us die.
And we even flew in the air with the highest flying mount and they would teleport next to you in the air and even shoot you while falling. We baited them to a high level world boss and hid on a mountain and let them fight the boss for 20 minutes without ever escaping. You can't hide from them, if they literally spawn in your face.
That said, trespassing is usually escapable from my experience. But once they are really onto you, they won't stop until you are dead.

the only way i escaped the pal cops for assault (and vehicular manslaughter if a deer counts as a vehicle) was traveling across 4 different islands on a big bird

I have a few comments about this as of now, I will edit as I watch:
Humans aren't pals so they might not count, the cops can be avoided by just moving far enough away, you can go into inventory then party then rename your pals, editing
I once accidently hit the survivor at the ruin just down the hill from starting point (with the lifmunk effigy behind the doorway).
I ran all the way to small settlement, teleported to the starting waypoint and one cop guy teleports/spawns there with me. I ran down to the rocks where the dinosom was first seen, crouched and tried to put the rock between me and the officer until i could come up with a plan.
And then by some miracle the officer decided that "ah, cant clearly see them, must have escaped, time for a donut break" and despawned.
You poor soul. I'm so sorry for what you will see.

There is a mod that does the nuzlocke rules on vortex. Haven't tried it yet, but it does have positive reviews

they made a mod to help you with that, nuzlocke mod that make it so your pal dies and disappers from your party
I think for nuzlockes of this game to be reasonable you need to have 3 specific rule changes:
1.) Humans are not pals and cannot be caught. Everything ingame states they don't count as pals, almost all of them have set spawn locations so you can technically just not look where you know they'd be to avoid having them waste your encounter anyway, and they're basically worthless as a worker & fighter.
2.) 1 Foxparks in the first zone is allowed to be captured to work your base but never used in combat unless it was your first encounter. You literally cannot make progress at all without having a fire type and the only place you can go to have a 100% chance of encountering a fire type first is extremely far from spawn... and also Lv35+.
3.) You're allowed to disable npc raids if you want to. They get ridiculous later on and there's basically nothing you can do to prevent pal deaths during certain ones so it's literally a dice roll on if your run ends.
