    He composed this piece just 6 months before his death. I am pretty sure it was such a painful time for him. However, this piece is one of the most beautiful pieces by Schubert.
    I uploaded 3 composers last 3 days after my vacation. It is all my most favorite composers. Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert. I enjoyed it a lot ;) but the next upload will be definitely subscriber’s piece. 😎
    The big one is COMING!

      I think his musical genius is heavily underrated. If you listen carefully to the sets of impromptus and the late sonatas he wrote, its quite incredible how uniquely beautiful they are. I wish he had been more appreciated at his time

    • @Itemtotem

      That's probably because of Chopin.
      Chopin was not a fan of Schubert although Schubert practically worshipped the guy. In fact it was Schubert who exclaimed upon Chopin entering a room "Hats off, gentlemen: a genius!"

    My favorite Schubert piece to play. To me, the piece gives the story that although Schubert's life had many ups and downs, he championed through them all. By the end of the piece, it is like he is content with the life he's had.

    You educate me at every level . Never heard this piece before and yet it tells me so much about Schubert . I've seen the musical graphics many times but today they brought back memories of childhood. I was learning piano at 7years. My parents bought me a piano to play on. It was a pianola, so as l watched the graphics this morning l was looking at my pianola roll as it turned and the keys magically depressed and the music was there , by magic ! That was 60years ago. My piano teacher told my parents l would be a concert pianist. My father lost the piano gambling shortly afterwards ! I only knew of my tutors comments many years later. I play by ear and have a small grand that l don't play enough and
    sometimes think ...what if ? Thank you Traum .

    • @johndavey72
      @johndavey72 4 года назад

      @@Max-yp1iw well yes! I've always loved piano and back in 1979 l was offered an upright for free. ( There's a very funny story behind that) l started playing again and reignited my "need" to play. I always struggled with reading and just played by ear. In 1997 l flew over to Gig Harbour in Seattle by invitation to see my Aunt's . The beauty of Gig inspired me to compose some pieces. On my return home , England, l realised the upright was past it's best and "stole" the boudoir grand for £500 . One day l will get my music transcribed .
      23 years later it still sounds good (to me !) Thankyou very much. Take care and stay safe.
