Fleur and Mike, I'm so glad you are doing this cooking series with Sainsbury's. I've watched all of your segments, and am slowly working my way through the rest of them as well. I like them all, but yours are the best. :)
Just made this and it was yummy! Especially the beetroot & thyme combination :) Really like the cooking videos of you two, hopefully a lot more to come. Love from the Netherlands
It sounds delicious and looks just as good! I had never heard of that Spiralizer machine before, I guess it's hard to find here in Italy but I'll surely give it a shot. Keep up with these super inspiring and yummy recipes! :D
I'd love to see you cook Mexican food! Ok gotta be honest when Mike used the spiralizer I went & google a store in my city were I could get it and found one!! love how it looks and it seems super fun so I hope to get one soon (when I get one I'll try the recipe and make cucumber&carrot with salt, lemon & chili) thanks for sharing the recipe I enjoy watching your videos.
This looks amazing! I like that you did a lighter option for food. Maybe you could do a video where mike does a normal dish and you show a lighter variation? But loved the video as usual :)
Hi Alena Pinel thanks for the comment and your suggestion, it's a very nice idea. Do you think people would like to see lighter versions of Christmas recipes?!? :0
This looks really nice, I will definitely try it although I'd probably just use grated or finely sliced courgette and use mozzarella or maybe Cheshire cheese.
I loved this video Fleur and Mike! My husband and I have been wanting to get a spiralizer but can't decide which to purchase. Did you like this one? Link? Also, was it actually hot or cold (or kind of lukewarm) when you ate? Very excited to try this!
Great to see you in a new vid Fleurbs, but I'm with Mike, I prob wouldn't choose that for a meal, my excuse is I don't have the gadget lol. Why not do a series for Christmas ;)
Great recipe, any suggestions for veggies that I could substitute beetroot for? If I were to cook beetroot at home, my husband would choke. Since we got married I have never shopped for it. He is so allergic that he can tell if it is is in the fridge. Plus I am not fond of beetroot too lol, although I like it when blended with orange juice.
***** Thank you for the suggestion :) (No pancetta for us, Morocco here lol) but I'll make it to go with some baked chicken. BTW I already miss your Vlogtober series and the doggies on your vlog channel, especially Piglet :D. Cheers !
For anyone who doesn't want to invest in a spiraliser I make courgetti using a zester, it's really easy although it doesn't make really long strands. Plus you can just put it in the drawer when you've used it.
I think you need to do a big fat curry followed with a yummy pudding all in one vlog plz oh n the pud needs to be of the chocolate variety ;-) . Keep up the good work folk you r brill :-) xx
Hi Emman Sadorra - for this week's episode, Fleur & Mike used one of our spaghetti recipes as a guide (560 calories per serving) and swapped out the pasta for courgette/zucchini: goo.gl/6deSlM A standard serving of spaghetti contains around 360 calories, whereas a medium sized courgette only has around 25 calories. Hope that helps!
I've never quite acquired the taste for dirt and beetroot tastes way too "earthy" for my preferences. So, I think I'm on Mike's side for this dish... I'll leave off the beetroot and it should be delish! Any ideas for a beetroot substitution that's not so earthy? Thanks for the fun, spiralized courgette/zucchini recipe.
Actually, I would suggest keeping the oil and not wiping down the pan after cooking the beetroot and thyme. That way, the spinach will absorb some of the thyme's flavor and you don't need water to wilt it down. (just increase the temp and stir fry it v fast)
There are 119 calories in a table spoon of olive oil. So a glug must be around double this 200 calories! defeating the whole point of a low calorie meal.
Fleur and Mike, I'm so glad you are doing this cooking series with Sainsbury's. I've watched all of your segments, and am slowly working my way through the rest of them as well. I like them all, but yours are the best. :)
That looks incredible! Plus, I love Fleur and Mike and think they are a fabulous addition to this channel!:)
I love you two together and especially appreciate Mike's honesty about how he thinks the dishes taste : ) So glad you are doing these recipes!
I think I may just be obsessed with food but ***** and Mike make everything look so yummy!!
All the recipes look so good! I especially like this one because it looks really fun making your own pasta out of courgetti!
love how honest you are, ie, mike is honest about not liking beet. can you do a coffee and donuts recipe?
Just made this and it was yummy! Especially the beetroot & thyme combination :) Really like the cooking videos of you two, hopefully a lot more to come. Love from the Netherlands
How did I miss this one, looks yummy and fleur your hair & make up looks lovely
Amazing recipe! Such an awesome healthy dinner! I love zucchini pasta!!

Everything you make is so fancy! ☺️
I'd love to see you cook Mexican food!

Love the title!!! Leave off the goat cheese and I might like it!! Good job!
Such a great video! Love watching you two together :)
This looks so yummy, will have to try this!
That is a healthy & yummy recipe. 👍
Too bad I don't have that spiralizer thing.. 😔
Looks delicious so far my favourite recipe!

I think that would be a great idea! I know I would sure enjoy that, and hopefully others would too :)
What a great idea; this subscriber is very interested!
Sainsbury's Food YES
This looks yummy! I love beets!
Gawd that looks SO GOOD. Which we had smell-o-vision.
Looks delicious. Nice healthy alternative to spaghetti.
Would love it if you guys could make Tiramisu sometime in the future.
I'm so hungry rightnow :D I looks so deliciouuus!!
This looks really nice, I will definitely try it although I'd probably just use grated or finely sliced courgette and use mozzarella or maybe Cheshire cheese.

how long do you cook the courgette?
Fleur & Mike just stirred theirs through, but if you wanted to cook it a bit more we'd say no more than 3 minutes in the pan.
I think it's best if you cook it with the sauce for 3 mins! My Fave! :)
Great to see you in a new vid Fleurbs, but I'm with Mike, I prob wouldn't choose that for a meal, my excuse is I don't have the gadget lol. Why not do a series for Christmas ;)
Where is the spiralizer from?
Thanks
Love the video
you guys are the cutest couple
I'd swap the beetroot and thyme for roasted red pepper and basil. Sprinkling of Parmesan instead of the goats cheese. Yum

He is so allergic that he can tell if it is is in the fridge. Plus I am not fond of beetroot too lol, although I like it when blended with orange juice.
Pretty much any veggie! I quite like doing it on it's own with a sauce and then having chicken wrapped in pancetta with it! :)
***** Thank you for the suggestion :) (No pancetta for us, Morocco here lol) but I'll make it to go with some baked chicken.
BTW I already miss your Vlogtober series and the doggies on your vlog channel, especially Piglet :D.

Please do a chocolate soufflé recipe!!!
i love zucchini pasta!!
How much does this make?
Is there nutritional info for this dish? Curious about the calorie count...
Totally random, but have always been curious what Mike does for work? I hope it is not rude to ask

I'll leave off the beetroot and it should be delish! Any ideas for a beetroot substitution that's not so earthy? Thanks for the fun, spiralized courgette/zucchini recipe.
Is this just jar beetroot or fresh beetroot?
Actually, I would suggest keeping the oil and not wiping down the pan after cooking the beetroot and thyme. That way, the spinach will absorb some of the thyme's flavor and you don't need water to wilt it down. (just increase the temp and stir fry it v fast)
please make indonesian fried rice with your own creation!
What happen to the oignon?
How about Eggs Benedict? Yum!!!
Is a courgette like s zucchini??
i don't really understand how any food can be 'girly' or 'manly'...... its just food calm down
:-D u r so cute together :) and i agree with Mike, also dont like beetroot :-D
WHAT how did the strands get so long?! PS. if you don't have this machine maybe you could use spaghetti squash?
yeah but we don't have that in the UK (I've never seen it in the big supermarkets anyway) x
I use zucchini with a little hand held spiral slicer from Bed Bath and Beyond...voila, zoodles!
Where on earth would one acquire the contraption Mike used to spiralize the courgette?!
I bought mine on amazon :) just search for a veg Spiralizer.
Oh, thank you :)
Pls make Indian!!!!!
i still have no idea what courgette is..... it looks like zucchini
Courgette is the french word for zucchini (it's the same vegetable, just a different name)
ah! gotcha! thanks!
iolanda1000 It's not only used in France though xD We use it in The Netherlands too.
SuzannaTM VW Hi, I was just saying that the word "courgette" is french/latin (the etymology). I know that it's used in other countries. Bedankt : )
Hahaha geen probleem =P No problem, I just wanted to make sure 0=) I never intented to insult you in any way.
I'm with Mike; I'll cut out the beetroot, but it looks great otherwise!
Mike doesn't look convinced!
Looks good but doesn't it defeat the point of a healthy meal adding gluggs of olive oil and creme fraiche.
T Kol Olive oil is not bad for you, neither a small amount of creme fraiche. :)
There are 119 calories in a table spoon of olive oil. So a glug must be around double this 200 calories! defeating the whole point of a low calorie meal.
T Kol you could just leave out the olive oil
Presentation needs a lot of work. Lose the creamy sauce and beet root, try a tomato sauce instead & you can still crumble your goat cheese on it.
What is a 'girly recipe' !!????
