Mike's pancake recipe looks amazing! I am defiantly going to make them! Every time I make pancakes the first pancake is always the 'practice' pancake because I always mess it up. I really like this series. You both are so fun to watch and your kitchen is gorgeous! Being that I'm American I would love to see more classic British recipes. I had a good friend growing up who's dad was from London and he made the BEST English style roasted potatoes (that's what he called them). They didn't have the skin on and were nice and crispy on outside and creamy on the inside. I have tried to make them many, many times before and can't do it right. If you have any idea what I'm talking about please, please make them. He always made them with a roasted leg of lamb.
Well Fleurbs I have to say it, you've done it again, what a superb video, you are so lucky to have Mike around he's a great cook, I made the American style pancakes of course, with blueberries, pears, crispy bacon, and lashings of maple syrup and they were light and scrummy yummy, oh yes!!
wow...both look so yummy!! However, I think I would want to have Mike's pancakes because I love pecans and never had pancakes with pears. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Another goody! :) My darling Vincent is the pancake expert around our place. Will have to let him give these a look. Having so much fun watching you two cook! 👏
Really enjoyed this! My favourite healthy pancakes are the 2 eggs, 1 banana variety - super simple and really lovely when topped with strawberries and agave nectar or balsamic vinegar! Nothing beats sitting down to a maple syrup drenched stack of real New York diner pancakes though!
Mikes was landslide win! Try regular buttermilk pancakes with crunchy peanut butter on it and drizzle maple syrup on top! Sooooooo gooooooood! Texas style
Nice job guys! I personally found both versions very interesting. Mike, don't tell Fleur her version is rubbish, it really isn't at all, although yours is awesome as well, of course! Ahahah :D You guys make me laugh so much. As for the next recipe, I would like to see your revised version of tortilla. A Big thumbs up for this video is granted! ;)
I don't know any Americans who eat pancakes on the 4th of July :), says me the American living in England. It's a Saturday morning thing. The forth is known for: grilling out, BBQ, corn on the cob, potato salad, watermelon, and amazing desserts that look like the American flag- it's a picnic type of day. But this was fun to watch. I've never seen anyone do the egg white thing with a pancake. Interesting tid-bit, Americans call pancakes flapjacks.
I think I would want to have Mike's version, but would pick Fleur's healthier version in the end! haha! :) Both look great, enjoying these videos you two!
I know this doesn't involve cooking but I always struggle to know what to put in my lunch box for school? Will you do a video on what to put in? Maybe one of you do a super healthy one and one of you does a healthy one with a few treats? Thank You so much⭐️
Love this video! I think you should fuse the buttermilk pancakes with the blueberries! Truly All-American. Plus maple syrup and bacon. PS--I don't do that egg white thing.
DreamyUnderwood The yoghurt isn't used *in* the pancakes, just on top I believe. There's also a caption saying that you can use soy/dairy free yoghurt as an alternative :)
***** thank you for your generous offer! You clarified things for me. I live in the US and was just curious because I kept hearing people say "American" pancakes. We eat them all the time and include everything you can imagine. I love banana, they taste like banana bread. My all time favorite are pecan. Thanks again for the insight and the kindness!
Everyone is commenting about fleurspancakes not being vegan because honey is NOT vegan but fleury said that they were kind of vegan and if your vegan just don't put the honey in, simple
Wash the eggs first. Always. Wash them only before using them. Crack them on a flat surface to avoid eggshells in your mixture. Optional. Otherwise, the recipes sound interesting.
NightSkies Dark To have a clean surface, to wash away bacteria and viruses. In case of an eggshell falling into you egg this will diminish the chances of contamination. Also remember to wash them before you use them, not when you buy them and will store them in the fridge. The eggs have their own protection so that those stuff stay away of the insides and washing them washes it away and lets then penetrate the shell. The whole washing before cooking is to avoid anything on top of this layer getting into your food. Warm water would suffice.
That's really interesting. I'm from the UK and would never store eggs in the fridge or wash them before use. Interesting to learn about different ways of working :-)
NightSkies Dark I was recently told that fresh eggs are best stored outside, not in the fridge, but at a constant temperature (roughly). That's how people that live in the country side do it and can store them way longer than us storing them in the fridge. However, I live in an apartment building and we don't have a pantry or any place with a constant temperature so the fridge and not buying a lot of eggs is all I can do. That's what we get for living in the city.
i love these episodes they're funny to watch and they show you how to make them well
it's very nice to see Mike enjoying himself so much! :)
You guys should do more cooking videos!! They're soo cute and amazing!! Love you guys!!

How great that the blueberry pancakes are eggfree! Thank you so much! :D
Think I'll go with Fleurs pancake recipe and Mike's topping recipe for the best of both worlds.

Risotto!? I'd love to see that, I made it once and it didn't go too well, I was gutted!

What song is in the background when Fleur is mixing the blueberries and yogurt?
Can you do more vegetarian eggless recipes like desserts and cakes love this ❤️
Love this video! I think you should fuse the buttermilk pancakes with the blueberries! Truly All-American. Plus maple syrup and bacon. PS--I don't do that egg white thing.
I just recently made banana nut pancakes. They were so good.
You and Mike were so cute!
i love this videos!
Fleur's pancakes aren't completely vegan with the honey and the yogurt, but they look amazing :)
Honey isn't vegan?! What does it have in it?
TieganSwift Bee juice?
I was thinking the same about the honey but didn't she use a dairy -free yoghurt?
DreamyUnderwood The yoghurt isn't used *in* the pancakes, just on top I believe. There's also a caption saying that you can use soy/dairy free yoghurt as an alternative :)
i think she meant the batter is vegan
Cupcakes!!!!!
you guys remind me of Rapunzel and Flynn so much!
Well, I know what I'm havin' for breakfast tomorrow... ;)
I like the idea of one of you making a healthier version.
you should have an omelette cook off. or make a baked ziti.
Americans don't make pancakes like that but they look sooooooo good and tasty
I saw you refer to Mike's pancake as American style. Is there a British pancake? What are the differences & can I get a recipe fr the British version?
***** thank you for your generous offer! You clarified things for me. I live in the US and was just curious because I kept hearing people say "American" pancakes. Love these vids but 1 question: how on earth do you cook on an electric stove? Gas flame all the way!
Could you make something summer related like fruit salad with a twist
Fleur's look really good! Mike's looks a little too peared up but still nice
Can you guys do a risotto dish
So cute xx
You guys have to make spaghetti squash!!
May I suggest that you create an # for each of your recipes . That way you can find our attempts in instagram ;)
Instead of Honey which makes Fleurs pancake mix not vegan you can use agave syrup or maple syrup/golden syrup :)
Mike wins! Hands down
what is the name of that boy? his cute..i like his food both of your food that you cooked..
Everyone is commenting about fleurspancakes not being vegan because honey is NOT vegan but fleury said that they were kind of vegan and if your vegan just don't put the honey in, simple
A british roast dinner!
I hate blueberries so I'd probably choose Mike's. I would definitely choose my mums pancakes over any, though.
honey isnt vegan because it is an animal byproduct. but just replace it with sugar or agave nectar and you're set. great recipes!

I have never heard of washing eggs before use. Why is it necessary?

Eggs were only put in the fridge because someone put that little tray in there for them :) no need :)
Fleur's pancakes aren't vegan - honey is NOT vegan.
She said kind of
Don't put honey on then
my pancakes always end up looking like scrambled egg, so maybe ill give these a try
I tried to make fleurs pancakes, I found the consistency watery so added more flour which made them stodgy :/
I would make Mike's only for the reason that im allergic to whole wheat and i dont like blueberries
Please could you make banana chips
lmao kinda funny that you guys are doing a July 4th episode
What does rubish mean?
It means junk/trash but in the way they are saying it it means not good

Tiffin
Brownies
they arent totally vegan but still yummy
301 person who liked your vids 😘
prefer mike's tbh...
Pizza
Interesting, most American pancake recipes use chemical leavening rather than the whipped egg whites.
Zusie not homemade ones.
You know independence day is a celebration of American independence... from Britain? Seems like a funny thing for Britons to celebrate. x
American?? haha I don't know a single american who makes pancakes without using a mix.. :)
You could try making tacos.
fleur's aren't technically vegan because of the honey and yogurt.
Honey is not vegan, just like greek yoghurt!!!
Fleur's aren't vegan- they have runny honey in them!
They're not vegan if there's honey in them!
Fleur's vegan pancakes are not vegan because honey is an animal product.
.....but yogurt isn't vegan
