Meet Merlin. He is new in town and has already gotten off on the wrong foot with Prince Arthur. When Merlin saves Arthur from an assassination attempt, he becomes Arthur's manservant and they start to warm up to each other.
King Alined tries to break them apart by enchanting Arthur to fall in love with Lady Vivien. A heartbroken Merlin returns home to Ealdor where his mother and the great dragon tries to convince Merlin that Arthur still loves him. Arthur searches desperately for the missing Merlin. Will these two dollopheads ever be reunited?

I genuinely laughed when I heard the editing "MERLIN". Didn't expect that as I'm so used to hearing John Hurt's voice

Oh my god the ending when Arthur screams Merlin's name in the opening credits and the Merlin and Arthur fighting with the pants. OH MY GOD!!! I literally can't breath!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 That was amazing!! I hope that BBC gives us a happier ending to merlin!!! :)

Still think the beginning "In a land of myth and time of magic, teh destiny of a great kingdom rests on shoulders of a young boy/man. His name MERLIN!!!!!!" It would be so much funnier to have arthur in it after like the first whatever.....3 episodes or smth

I'm sorry, but this makes all perfect sense. honestly, the actors did their level best to give us that already regardless of what was in the script and what the BBC thought proper for a childrens show
