@@thebookvandalshop5592 it’s a group of crafters I usually craft in person with so we decided to craft on FaceTime and keep on creating. Trust me we done s few of your creative ideas.
I knew you had a crafting group and had done some of my projects in the past. I just wasn't sure where you all get together. I would've liked to join you sometime but I don't know anything about facetime.
@@thebookvandalshop5592 neither did I before all of this. Looks on RUclips and there was the instructions. It’s easier for me to FaceTime from my craft room because I never forget anything. It’s right there in my room. Just a few steps away. We will probably continue this well after the restrictions are over. Just a couple times a week. We get so much done and I’m now retired.
I got to try this! I like saving those cardboard folds from bed sheets and curtains, even the clear bags, for some book making possibilities but I really like what you did with the book covers here. Lovely!! 💐
TheBookVandalShop ~ It’s lovely! and zI think the font you used is so cute! I’ve gotten so many ideas from you. 😁 I’ll be adding this series to my list.
Dawn, I’ve watched this back to front LOL 😂 because part 2 came up firstly. I really really love 💕 this, it’s packed to the gunnels with so much fabulous stuff and it’s really really stunning and gorgeous too. I’m going to re-watch both parts once I’ve got the two kits and the gutted books too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I am so excited about this journal!!! I have several Reader's Digest books and I have been ready to create a journal with them! Thank you for posting! Off to the next video!!!
Thank you for creating this ... Have been looking for inspiration to make something with several hard cover books I have . Thank you again for sharing a great project.
Putting two hardcover books together is brilliant!!!!! I love this Dawn- the subject matter plus your design is fantastic!! You always amaze me- and I do buy several of one book at the dollar tree too- so definitely doable!! ❤️
Just purchased 4 books from dollar tree not the same but I hope they match in height to make this beautiful journal you have created! So excited to get started. Thanks for sharing. Now on to part#2.... of your video. Your journal is very beautiful.
Hey Dawn... I have made lapbooks but this look a little different. Looking forward to your tutorial. Hope you are doing great today. Bella and I are sending hugs your way.
Hello there, I am just starting on this fabulous project and have one question before I start printing off digitals - could you tell me what paper type you printed on? Was everything printed on card stock or copy paper or both? Thanks - looking forward to this project immensely. Love your channel!
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I print all my digital papers on Epson brand Premium Presentation paper in the matte finish. There are single and double sided options so be sure to purchase the correct one you need. Just like with photo paper, you can't print on the back of the single sided. The weight of the paper is similar to that of photo paper. Heavier than regular paper, slightly lighter than cardstock. Hope that helps
I discovered a Part 2 to one of your U-tubies of making a junk journal and then I had fun trying to find the Part 1with the same paper, etc. Perhaps you could find a better way to categorize your videos 'cause the names are a bit similar and so I had to wander about a bit;;;;lots of part1's, part2's, part3's, part4's, etc. I hope you're not upset......
Check out my playlists. Any project that has multiple parts should be in its own playlist. The thumbnail picture on the playlist should be indicative of the project. Also, look in the description box of the video, I often link the previous episode, if there is one, in the description. Sometimes they get past me but I try to be super organized that way. Hope that helps. Xx
I mean, seriously. Coolest journal I've seen yet and I watch ALL the videos.
This is gorgeous, many thanks!
Love it Dawn love the intro just love love love
💜 Thank you!
Yeah!!!! Another project of yours I can make. I will watch all 4 parts first. Thank you for sharing.
Have fun! What is the crafting group that you lead? Is it a facebook group?
