Just made my first little beat on the MPC live 2 thanks to this video. You doing gods work with this tutorial and did really good in breaking down everything step by step slowly and and to the point. I know there's lot to learn on this machine but really excited to tinker with it and see what more I can do with the Live 2. I appreciate that a lot man…it’s good to get that type of feedback and my plan is definitely to create more of a personal space for all my creative work and more of myself as well…while continuing to do tutorials and other things that people have been here for.

I use mpc 2 software and a mpk mini 3 and I’ve noticed that the software hits hard especially if you use the mpc3000 vintage effects on the overall master track . The MPC Software sounds the same when you export it . Fl studio doesn’t sound the same when you export it if found myself exporting 3 or 4 times to get it right.
All about the export settings too

Hi. I was wondering do you know how to export the mpc live midi data under the midi icon, by exporting that mpc live midi data as a .midi file (onto an eternal SD card) to take just the midi data out of the mpc live? I appreciate your videos. Thanks...

Question for ya- I have a TR8S and MiniFreak. I am thinking the MPC Live 2 pretty much replaces all of that, wouldn't you say? Like just sell those two and pick up an MPC. It does everything I could ever dream up it seems. Whatcha think? :)
It comes down to preference, but I would say the MPC Live 2 is a lot more versatile than the TR8S but it depends on your workflow. As for the Minifreak..that probably is a better synth than the ones in the MPC but now with the newer plugins internally, they are really close. If it were me, I would keep the synth to pair with it, but if you did sell both to get a Live 2, that would still be worth it.

There may be more changes, but I'll continue to do Live/MPC videos..but I also want to make content on all the things I do regularly...including other DAWs, Music Videos, and other things content creator related.

@@Fleshnbloodrobot Gotcha..yeah, I mostly use it now when I am not in my studio or away for a few days..I take it on trips or when visiting fam. I have the Key 61 currently connected to my set up and also use Ableton a lot. I do highly recommend the Live though and if there was one MPC that I'd recommend, that would be it 👌
I get that. 61 really renders it out of the picture. Most ppl are straight computer huh. Just need a sequencer to compliment the korg xd. Seems like the best option🤷♂️ thank you man! Keep killing it
