Listened to this for the first time at the gym last week, didn't care for it much at all after the first listen, but a few days later I found myself humming the intro riff without remembering where it was from. Closing in on 300 listens now, I can't get enough of it lol
5-HTP is the precursor for serotonin in your brain, the neurotransmitter that goes into overload when you take MDMA/molly/ecstasy...
So hopefully we see this song as an intro for an album that blasts my brain with happy hormones

Oh believe you me, I’ve got about 85% of this song down pat but EVERY time I listen again there is always something he does or uniquely phrases that always sneaks up or throws off that predictability in a riff or phrase

Notice the slight increase in bass after the pause @ 2:44. That punch is awesome.
The main hook the song is built around sticks in your head all day. Ima learn it later today when I get some free time. When you learn by ear, it's so much easier when the riff is a worm in your ear haha.
This whole record is gold. Lunartic and d.o.s.e. are so bad ass.

I love how Intervals uses the lead guitar almost as a vocalist in the music. Sometimes in instrumental song I miss not having any vocals but with intervals I actually prefer their instrumental versions of song with vocals because it's so well crafted even without a vocalist.
Every time I hear the run at 0:36 I always give an audible MMMMMMM after it. So Good.

I think it’s funny that every album he does is endorsed by a different guitar company. TSOC was PRS, The Way Forward was Suhr, this time it’s Mayones. I guess it gives every album a unique sound

And with all those guitar brands he uses, it still sounds like Aaron..
Personally i prefer TSOC tone, but this is sick too

I feel like with Mayones he could get basically his Suhr and PRS specd out (Regius/Aquila) at a similar uber high level but with more support.

Thank you for this play through! I was struggling to figure out a couple parts because I had figured it was in E standard but this confirmed it's in Drop D and it made it a breeze (minus the part at 0:36, that run is still giving me trouble but I'll get it down eventually haha)
