In over 30 years of being in the insurance business I'm pretty sure I've never seen any exclusion in an auto policy for legal/not legal, approved/not approved, registered, recalled, maintained, etc Never seen it. There is a big stretch between an insurance company saying they don't want to cover a claim and actually legally being able to not cover a claim.
That's pretty interesting. If a CGT driver were to accidentally hurt someone (god forbid), wouldn't their legal exposure be greatly increased?
That's an initial underwriting question/concern not something that is addressed by the contract in the middle of a policy@@bidnerds

One has almost killed just about everyone who's ever driven a CGT.
These CGT will be 2 million then 3 million buy one if you can now. Stick it away until Porsche has the fix. If there will be nothing like it ever again and they did not make that make a ton of them. Buy the best one you can afford.

Not only are you liable for all the damage you cause, it’s probably illegal to drive a car which has been banned by the highway authority. So any driver is well advised to look at it. Touch it. And wait for Porsche to fix it - which they will.

@@bidnerds looking at the “low” result - probably quite significantly. Price could have also been affected by a general uncertainty in the market and by the low reserve. 🤷
