LINCOLNSHIRE POACHER LONGTRACK - THE FINALS!

Here is a teaser to the main video coming up from a very exciting sport known as Motorcycle Long Track, which is run on a grass oval with two longish straights.
This layout makes this a more exciting form of stadium speedway, and allows more riders take part in each race which adds to the excitement.
The bikes and riders are reminiscent of the days of old where knights on their horses joust with each other .
The bikes are quite basic with no front brakes and powerful 500cc single cylinder high-compression engines - braking is done by throwing the machine sideways into the bend to scrub the speed off and make the corner!
This video concentrates on just the grand finals of the event, although I am working on the full video of the whole day including behind the scenes build-up, but included are the solos and sidecars, plus the single lap time trial event winning laps.
