Max, as always a great 'real' review. And yes i think you have found YOUR perfect car. This Cayman is probably one of the best cars Porsche has ever produced. For Porsche...or this example...is subtle. Dare i say understated? And it passes the Sainsbury's car park test. [Over a M2 CS?...h'mmm? You too are a BMW 'supporter'. This Cayman is an investment.

Man. The gt4 has so much character and soul. I really want one. But on paper, a 991.1 turbo seems like the better value for the same money. So I'm torn.
But the turbo s will be what 2015 - old now and they sound shit
@@ReecegrocottThe gt4 in question is of the same generation 2015-2016. I have one and would choose the gt4 every time given I enjoy it on the track, but the 991.1 Turbo is undoubtedly the better road car. The gt4 will retain value better long term however.
The turbo s is faster in a straight line, but the GT4 takes it in the corners. You can’t get a turbo s with a stick shift, either. So, if you want a car for handling and the track, a 981 GT4 is more fun.

Sound gets so much better with headers on them, so does the power. It's double 800cell catalytics so once removed for a 200 cell or less it screams
981 GT4 was not available with the PDK.
