    I will be going over the render setups using Karma CPU as well as composite and colour grading in part two.
    Didn't want this video to be too long. Check description for link to the 3D scan used in this video.

    vector grad = volumegradient (1, 0, @P);
    float phi = volumesample (1, 0, @P);
    grad *= phi ;
    if ( phi < 0) {
    @P -= grad;
    }

    Insane, but how is it possible to all my vel should follow a certain "point" direction ?

    Is it custom system font, or what UI scale do you use? Text looks sharper and better than from direct video output from the system to my monitor. What the heck...
    And tutorial is very well made!

      Pretty sure I was using the Slate UI theme and scaling up the interface in the preference. I reformatted my computer so I cannot remember the exact values. Try to increase the UI scale and restart Houdini.

    Anyone have any ideas on how to soften the amount of the VDB Potential Flow...or someway to animate it on and off?

    I amazes me that such a commonly used setup still needs custom vex scripting.

      You could do it in VOPs, but I get what you mean. Houdini is very low level by design.

    Which UI theme are you using and where can one download it?

    In 2:46, when you set vdbactivate1 node to reference, I can't see the "steam box" in my houdini. Do you know how can I visualize it? Thank you for the tutorial.

      Are you sure you are not in wireframe mode? Is it visible if you press W in the scene viewer?
