Not religious personally, but I love the educational basis for the series, plus what a host. Zach is the best
Children are so innocent, the young boy made me laught when he said,
"I don't know anything i'm only in first grad" soooo cute". We are all equally important, I am very curious about people and respect them regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity ')

Zach...you are wonderful! You are funny, open, honest, intelligent. So much to offer in this venue! I stay very open to other faiths as a Christian, as I feel Jesus is the Way but He NEVER rammed it down anyone's throat. We love Him for who He is and pray for others to find their way to Him. I strive to anyone of any other faith because we are members of the same family...so this is wonderful. Glad I met you. You are like a breath of fresh air!

I'm a Christian, born and raised in the Bible belt, and lately the question "Why do you believe what you believe?" has become so important. These videos are so interesting. I'm so glad to be able to learn more about other religions. I don't understand how people can argue their religion is the true religion without understanding the other side. Thank you Soul Pancake!
That this series didn't have millions of views is the greatest indictment of civility and curiosity.

I am Muslim and it saddens me that some people are scared of my faith but I'm also happy because I know that this series will enable people to learn more about it and, while perhaps not appreciate or love it, at least understand it.
it's been a long time since i have seen a video with zach anner in it and i totally forgot how he makes me smile and feel happy.
now, that's a series that i am looking forward to, and i'm an atheist.

People are often scared of what they don't understand or know much about. Education about other cultures, religions, or groups is always good.

I just found SoulPancake and the Have A Little Faith series and I love what you've done. There are so many faith systems out there an so many that are unseen or unknown. I consider myself to be fairly informed and well educated but while theology is an interest of mine there are a lot of religions I know little or nothing about. Thanks for bringing this to us Zach!

I really miss this series. I wish it would have continued. I appreciate how Zach was gracious and curious to those religions is he was investigating. When I try to learn about other faiths there is always a lot of content from people who left the faith or people who don't see the value of the faith from the inside. If you ever pick this up again, I would love to see one on Jehovahs Witnesses.
I am a well traveled Episcopalian. Even UTAH! ;) (yes i went to the temple AND heard the most AMAZING CHOIR in that acoustically PERFECT building!
God was with me and EVERY member of that choir!!!

Sebastien, I'm glad for you. I believe that you are a stellar person, and I know that as a Mormon from outside of Utah, you are different from the Mormons who are born and grow up in Utah Mormon culture. The LDS people I know from outside the state are different from Utah Mormons (my cousins, for instance)...there is something liberating and broadening about experiencing life outside the confines of the culture that prevails in this area.
That montage perfectly encapsulates why I have to give a mini religion lecture every time I tell someone I went to a Quaker school...

You absolutely know that the woman who hesitated after Zach said Islam thought terrorism/terrorist. There is so much misinformation about the different faiths in this world. It is misunderstanding that leads to fear and hatred. We all need to learn about one another and learn to love one another!!

I think they're honest. If you don't know someone of a certain religion, it's normal to be nervous about them.

This sounds cool. When I was answering the questions he was asking in my head I realized I have a fairly positive view of religion. Like when I think of Islam I think of the smell of New York taxi cabs, the beauty of a Koran written in Arabic, and middle eastern food. And Mormons remind me of happy people, I've never met a pessimistic Mormon. I'm an atheist, but mythology is pretty cool. Unfortunately, people still get offended because I group their religion in with Greek mythology.
This sounds like a great series. Zach seems like a great host.

I'm Mormon. I love the stereotypes people have in their heads about our religion such as polygamy in our church that hasn't been around since the 1800's. It really just shows how media influences us.

Thank you so much for this! I wrote a young adult novel that I completed in 2001. I had thought to myself that we live everyday with a diversity of religions around us, but know nothing about them and don't talk about it. So, I thought why not bring them into view as part of a fantasy adventure. Then 911 happened, I thought this is the perfect time for this book. No, publishers and agents said the writing was professional, but felt uncomfortable with the material. I hope your show takes off!

Awesome video, and I'm more than excited to see more of Zach in these new series! Some of us really need to be more educated on things as important as religion. Sad to think most people still don't know much about Islam or Muslims and yet have very strong opinion towards it without even knowing what they believe in.
Rainn Wilson, the initiator of this channel is of the Bahaii Faith. That's what wikipedia says anyways and the only thing why I know about it, sounded pretty interesting though: They believe all gods (Allah, God, Jahwe, you name it) are actually one thing and try to incorporate the best of those religions and have some of their own rules, too of course :)
