I love to crochet; takes all my stress away; until I realize I've made a mistake in the pattern and have to unravel hours worth of work to correct it. But I still love it. I also love making the old timey doilies with the thread.
That used to be me...now if i hold it up and step back and i can't see my mistake, i just keep on going. But I do understand how you know it's there, even if others can't see it.
Crocheting saved my life. I’ve been crocheting for 40 yrs now. I’m a yarnaholic and I shop for yarn all the time. Whatever I make, I give away as gifts.
Cheers! Today at Joanns i saw their Linus Project box and somebody like you left 2 big clear plastic bags w piles of baby blankets. 😲 I was proud to make ONE.😕

Hey thurrrr, Vanna White is an avid crocheter and has done a few books. Lion brand also has a yarn named Vanna’s choice. The late Rosie Grier was a crocheter.
I was taught by my Aunt when I was 6! I would get so excited watching her crochet...my ADHD was a bit much. I'm 59 and I still love it. It taught me "quiet time".
I loved how you said "Crochet is cool!" Yes girl totally 💕 It improves focus, is meditative and fun! In my experience definitely works on anxiety and depression!
Crochet is very cool it saved my life..I was a heroin addict it helped me through some rough times and watching your tutorials...been clean for over 2 years now. I enjoyed this video very much.
Vanna's line was a great gift to me. All the colors were "autumn" wh were my best colors and those used to be very scarce. I made dozens of projects w her yarn and had a closet full of scraps. I ended up using them all up making granny's garden hexagon afghan and pillow shams.
Crochet was the first thing I learned when I was 9 and made my first afghan when I was 11. I love crochet and knitting and to see a man doing it is the BEST.
I love finding out that some of my not favorite celebrities but some of the celebrities I love to watch like to crochet and it's like oh my gosh they're younger than I am too so that's great I love seeing younger folks getting into crocheting it's a great hobby to have it is I don't know how many times I've been called a grandma because I crochet
I'm a teenager and I love to crochet! I love to crochet everyday and I'm addicted to yarns. The time I love to crochet is during night time. Like from 8 (after I'm finish with chores and school) up to 4 o'clock in the morning all the while listening to commentary channels on youtube.
Not surprised at all. My OB/GYN did needlepoint to keep his fingers flexible for his stitches during surgery. He also had needlepoint parties with his employees.
I don't care what people say about the fact that I crochet, I'm addicted to it and I thoroughly enjoy it. My fave thing to make is Amigurumi, which people love once they see my creations and often say "why are you working, you should sell your stuff", unfortunately I don't crochet very fast and I'm a perfectionist, so the rollout of my crocheted goodies wouldn't be lucrative enough to make a living and I don't charge exorbitant prices for the stuff I sell, so again not all that profitable. But if I could, it would definitely be a case of "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life". I've only been doing it since about 2014, after doing many many hobbies (my friends who know me often remark that it's the longest hobby I've ever had 😁) and I crochet pretty much every single day. And yes, I'm one of those who get defensive when people call it "knitting" 😂 I'm a happy hooker and WIPS and chains excite me!
I taught myself to crochet during first lockdown…from RUclips vids, I love it, made Christmas presents for everyone last year everyone loved them 🏴
Love to crochet. When I became disabled I have to spend too much time resting to manage my fibromyalgia/lupus. It prevents me from being good at knitting but I have made so many blankets, hats for newborns at the hospital. I love that it travels well and it helps with my anxiety. I sew too but crocheting doesn't keep me behind a machine. It just makes me feel good trying to keep people comfortable and cozy. 😊
I think crochet is cool. Anything that gives you joy and makes other people happy in the process is definitely cool. I am not surprised that these celebrities realize it too. Thanks for sharing!
I've been crocheting since I was 5 years old. I don't always read patterns. I have made up my own stitches. Presently doing acts of kindness for perfect strangers and waitresses and people who take care of me while groceries shopping etc. Thanks again. Enjoyed your videos.

Yup. Same thing down here in Nigeria. When I started crocheting a few years ago I would call it knitting so as not to confuse anyone 😁. Not many people know of the distinction it's all knitting to them (us) 😄 but I have now taken to letting people know the difference. Crochet one hook, knitting two, and they are happy to have learnt something new 🙂
I love to hear celebrities talk about how crochet & knitting keeps them sane. I learned to knit from my mom as a kid but didn’t keep it up. After my mom, dad, and two sisters all died within 7 months about 10 years ago, I read that knitting was really good for grieving people. I picked it back up and I’ve been hooked ever since. Here the best and coolest is the libraries and museums have most of the trees designed colorful crochet and people are doing the planters also! I heard that the artist does this in memory of a relative. My sister always made blankets and since she passed i crochet all the time keeps all the memories stronger:)
My mother in law crochets like Michelangelo painted and sculpted. I begged her to teach me. She said she just doesn't have the patience. I started out with loom knitting which I still enjoy. I am learning how to crochet from RUclips.

Here the best and coolest is the libraries and museums have most of the trees designed colorful crochet and people are doing the planters also! I heard that the artist does this in memory of a relative. My sister always made blankets and since she passed i crochet all the time keeps all the memories stronger:)
This was such a great list and video!
My mother in law crochets like Michelangelo painted and sculpted. I begged her to teach me. She said she just doesn't have the patience. I started out with loom knitting which I still enjoy. I am learning how to crochet from RUclips.
Awesome! Happy Crocheting :D
