NC Train Video Journal 2024 Number 21 (NKP 765 Throwback Special)

NKP 765 on weekend excursions May 15, 1983 in Toledo, Ohio running on the Wheeling and Lake Erie District of the N&W (Formerly operated by NKP).
The video starts with engine and train loading at the Toledo, Ohio Homestead Yard on the east side of Toledo.
We caught the train departing Toledo at the Bury Street grade crossing in Oregon, OH.
On the way to a second crossing, we caught a Conrail TV train at the N. Locust Street grade crossing in Oak Harbor, OH lead by Conrail engine 6435 (Conrail 6428 trailing).
The final catch is in Oak Harbor on the West Portage River South Road grade crossing on the south side of town. The second track has been taken up at this point but the old signals are still around.

It's amazing the video footage survived this long. I would love to see 765 again someday but I live quite a drive from Indiana.
