    A suggestion for improving the cleaning aspect. Can the inside corners of the drip tray be not so deep. It is difficult to remove buildup that is collected in the corners. Maybe make them rounded instead of the hard angles.

    The only difference between the Syncronika & Pro 700 is a visual one? All internals are the same?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  6 лет назад +1

      Hi, Thanks for the question. Yes, internally the machines are the same. Differences are the Synchronika: has lever operated valves, PID display color blends - it's silvered, frame base is a single piece, easy to open up, angled portafilters, comes with a polished heavyweight tamper.

      Whole Latte Love Hi Mark, also the pressure gauge are located above the group head on Synchronika and below the group head on the 700. Color of the gauge also diferent.

    Maybe a weird question? but why would I get the Profitec vs the ECM? Does one brand make a certain emphasis vs the other, or is it just cosmetic differences?

      Hi Harold, Thanks for the question. Think of Profitec as Toyota and ECM as Lexus. Under the hood very similar with ECM featuring more refined cosmetic detail. Good example is the Profitec Pro 700 compared to the ECM Synchronika. Internally the machines are nearly identical. Externally the Synchronika is more detailed.

    Will ECM get into automatic pressure (or flow) profiling ?

    So the 700 is assembled in Germany and the 600 in Milan, Italy?

    What is the difference or advantage of having a stainless steel boiler like ECM uses, versus a brass or copper boiler used in some machines from Rocket or others?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  4 года назад +2

      SkeksisRule Hi SR, thanks for the question. IMO boiler material makes no difference in espresso quality. Personally, I prefer stainless as it looks better down the road when a machine is opened. Some opinions which say SS is less likely to scale but no hard data on that.

    What is the difference between ECM and Profitec? Not sure why companies split their brands like this.

      Hi Brad, It's something like this... Profitec = Toyota, ECM = Lexus.

    I am confused. I thought ECM was a German company?

    • @Wholelattelovepage

      Hi Mike, ECM is a German company. When this video was made they had manufacturing facilities in Germany and Italy. Since then all manufacturing has moved to Germany.
