Despite that, it still doesn’t work properly-shots are extremely inconsistent and vary dramatically despite precise measurement and grind settings. I also have a Bezzera Magica that cost half as much and it makes the ECM look like an off-brand discount machine in terms of performance and quality.
Very interesting tour of the ECM plant in Milan. When you see and hear all the details that go into the production of these machines, you quickly understand why buying one is an investment. Very impressive. Thumbs up from western Canada.
Seeing this makes me really inclined toward ECM. The care and thought they evidently put into their machines is fantastic.
Think twice. I made the same decision and I’ve regretted it ever since…
