I've walked the walk, but with my masters degree and vast military experience I knew from my first few years with the organization ( Sheriff's Office) that with nepotism and cronyism that was rampant; promotions, awards and decorations would not be in my future.

Yep! BLM along with a whole bunch of other bullshit ruined this country. Trayvon Martin case should've never been racialized and the irony of it all was that George Zimmerman is a Hispanic, not white, while the media twisted it into a case of white supremacy.

Equal opportunity means EQUAL, nobody disputes that. The officers suing for racism have already said minority recruitment has always been a problem and the George Floyd incident made it worse. How is that a departmental racism problem? So now it's found many minorities have a problem meeting screening standards? A policy is seldom racist, unequal enforcement is racist. The answer is NOT two different standards based on race. Equal opportunity DOES NOT mean equality of outcome. Many people lock themselves out of opportunities due to prior acts, race has nothing to do with it.
