As a FTO I always told the new officer training with me we are equal same exact uniform, same boss, same people sign our paycheck and this car belongs to the city/county. I need you and you need me, observe what I'm doing and I'll observe what you're doing, and relax around me being tense intensifies the fear. If you don't know something ask, if I don't know we will find out together. Some people get off on titles, what happens in that car between two officers stays in that car. I never liked snitches or complainers.

My first day on the street we were chasing a stolen car through narrow streets & alleys (the senior officer was driving) and I had no clue where we were. The suspects bailed out in an alley and my partner told me to radio in our location as he ran after them. I had to ask someone where we were so I could get help coming our way, but we did manage to arrest the driver. I caught the passenger suspect a short time later.
People who are police derive their authority/police powers from the tenth amendment of the bill of rights because James Madison says so. We went over this many times in government school.
what’s the point of making it so para military. This is a public job not a military job, need to rework that so we have less of a bunch of shoot first ask question later officers.

I missed the classes on education on civil rights criminal law Bill of Rights the first amendment. 4th 5 th any of the amendments. Most cops can’t even ricite the 1st .. corporate goons.
They take an oath and don’t have a clue about the constitution. It’s for authority privilege pay benefits qualified immunity . It’s one big blue line gang

It is 9 months academy in Serbia, then if you take police college it is 4 years, both get 6 months+ on their base for probie period.
