What if I wanted to (on dvd player not on pc but for home cinema -as I want only dvds to be able to play ) disable usb port somehow ,could I cut a cable on the inside or something?
I tried mp4, Avi, among so many others but none works. It keeps showing format not supported, sometimes when I click on the movie, the movie will seem to be loading then jumps back out to the folder or the movie won't show up in the folder at all according to the format. I realize my Samsung tv only supports mp3 and pictures and no matter what I try it won't work because of the tv...my only regret is not buying a tv like yours ☺ Thanks for your response though.👍
Because it doesn't support it. Most DVD players don't support all video formats and audio codecs. Your best bet is A Sony BDP-S3700 Bue Ray player. They're about $50-$60 dollars and they support just about all video formats w/the sound too.

Eric M. Nieves thats the first i hear of your issue, but try different resolutions like 720, 1080 maybe. I have not run into that. or try other movies to see if it happens with all of them. if your tv has a usb port and it's a newer model set 1-2-3 yrs old plug it into tv you may be able to see movie that way also like I can

Chief Nick if its not reading your mp4 movie, then it must be copy protected I guess.

when I had that dvd player it played almost every format, perhaps it does have something to do with your tv, sorry I could not be of further help.

what converter did you use?
media converter by antvplayer in the playstore
