Sheppard will be an all star PG for years in the NBA - don't overthink it, just draft him. Should have ended SHOW with who each of you would pick if we are staying at 3.
Hell no to PG13. He's old, injury prone, expensive (salary and assets), and doesn't sufficiently move the needle. Why tank for 3 long years for these assets to push in a chunk of chips for the 6th seed? Slow and steady, OR a star that fits our need and time line
Gotta draft Reed Sheppard. It's the dawn of the Wemby era, and efficient 3-point shooting is the greatest equalizer. Well, that and Alpy abusing Wemby in the low post.
I like Reed Sheppard for Houston or deal where the Rockets trade back for Dalton Knecht and additional trade capital. With that being said, I know Stone went to France.....so........
Think it’s going to be Reed at 3. Even if some of you guys don’t like Reed this is a draft where all of the players are on the same tier with each other it makes sense to take the player that’s the best fit. As for Paul George pass he too injury prone and he 34. Unless he takes like a two or three year deal but he wants the max so pass
Get brook Lopez. Trade with Portland and get Afernee Simons. At 7 draft Dalton Knect. Trade back late into the first and draft the 6’10 center from Duke. We can develop him to play later in the season and to be the future big
How about a trade up to no 1 and selecting Sarr who would be a perfect fit with sengun. Especially since he doesn’t want to go to the hawks, and the hawks are even more interested in either of Risacher or Clingan.
@@slickrick8046 lol so does it mean that if they draft reed sheppard they would be giving up on Jalen green or Amen Thompson? And bcos Jabari is on their roster they shouldn’t draft good players anymore? My advise to u, they all can coexist ok
@@slickrick8046 you were insinuating that the rockets drafting Sarr means they’ve given up on jabari.but that’s not true. Of course they would part with at least one future first round draft pick for Sarr regarded as the top prospect in this draft class
Jabari won't be okay with coming off the bench for a rookie and Sarr said he wants a big offensive role which won't happen, one would have to go it's not worth it
i want reed sheppard like 90% of rockets fans and i dont want a trade for ingram or bridges please dont best case scenario hawks 1 donovan wizards 2 sarr rockets 3 risacher spurs 4 the spurs want risacher so bad they give something extra to the rockets to move one spot and rockets draft reed sheppard at 4
I like Castle a lot and Brandon Ingram. Trade 2frp and Dillon Brooks plus Landale and Tate. Resign Jeff Green, sign a shooter like Beasley. Be a defensive beast of a team
The Rockets would be crazy to burn that #3 pick on Reed with his possible fool’s gold shooting percentage. He only managed to average 8 FGA per game while averaging 29 minutes a game. That’s too small of a sample size. He averaged 38% from three point range in high school when he had more volume. So what he did at Kentucky was probably an anomaly. I really think the Rockets will probably trade that pick, and draft an older prospect like Knecht or Carter.
He also got tripped almost every play in high school lmao and how is an entire consistent season "fools gold" ? He perfectly played his role FGA doesn't matter here
@@nocap6000 So he got tripped on all of his three point attempts…??? 🤭 You’re the same group of people who were claiming Jabari had game like KD coming out of college.🤪 It appears you haven’t learned your lesson. You judge shooters on volume. Curry & KD, for example, averaged 20 and 18 FGA per game while being the focus of opposing defenses.
How many Rockets hit 38% from 3 last year? Is the horrible efficiency of Risacher and Sarr last year fool's gold? They would certainly be fools to ignore their shooting percentages from last year.
@@rickyeager5762 Maybe worse in the pros. Especially considering Reed is an undersized 2-guard, with dinosaur arms, and he lacks athleticism. He’s the shooting guard version of Doug McDermott.
@slickrick8046 That's possible, however he might have more trade value in a package rather than Clingan or Sheppard. I don't want the Rockets to trade Sengun, if they select Clingan. That will be a major mistake.
@@saleemkirmani5583 Smart is 30. Four or five years from now his trade value may not be much. I’m one to believe that the Rockets will trade the #3 pick. But, Udoka could value Clingan over Sengun.
I would like to see the Rocket's make a lot of moves to improve the team but all the minutes are pretty much taken up. If you get rid of Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks, that opens up a lot of flexibility. And gets rid of the 2 players who make the worst decisions too. It would not surprise me if Stone traded the #3 pick for just draft capital and we stayed almost pat. I'm prepared to be disappointed when there is so much we can do. Since Ime has come to us I have been afraid Stone will not make the moves he wants and resign. But probably Ime will just light a fire under Stone and put him to work. The best case scenario to me is we trade Jalen, Dillon, #3 and #44 pick, Landale and Tate and come away with Miles Bridges and Marcus Smart. I would think 75% of fans would not like this but Ime would love it.
@@gg4l315 Sengun is actually our only good scorer in the paint. He is 21 and consistent. I'm sure he will be better at 25. We have no one to replace him now. I don't think Clingan is going to be better than him.

I think PG is ring hunting and wouldn’t consider the Rockets anyway.

I would have drafted Miner too😂...I want Sarr!
Easily Reed is the pick. Followed by Holland for an upside swing. Heck no on Hasheem Clingan
The only thing for certain is the first 10 picks have not been correctly mocked yet. There will be many surprises.
rockets should do both draft at 3 and if they want ingram trade future picks for him do both
Please make more podcasts
They should select Sheppard. He should be a backup PG.

I disagree #3 pick would be a lot more helpful winning a championship than anyone they can trade for . Its a trap don't fall for it
My man Bima!!!! What's up??
Two words about shepherd JOHN STOCKTON😮
Donovan Clingan.... Reed is a smoke screen. The Rockets could also move up. Wooden surprise me, Udoka seems like a aggressive enough guy
I don't want Clingan on the Rockets.
Why you don't want a center that can play defense????? Cause this team doesn't have one . And don't say Adams thats a joke
@rickyeager5762 He will clog up the lanes and he can't shoot. He can't guard anyone outside the basket. Shooting is the biggest need for the Rockets.
Zacc will be the pick
Thanks guys
I only would trade my third pick if I'm getting a player back who can play now.

90% is a high number…one thing is Reed being mocked to Rockets 90%…but Rockets fans prob closer to 60% who want to draft him…

Marcus Smart can be a future trade asset for a star. Therefore the 9th and Smart makes some sense.
