While Nine Sols has a REAL story, that has lots of emotional, cultural and lifestyle depth to it. I keep saying it wherever I discuss the two: Don't compare them. They're very different and they focus on different things. Nine Sols only takes some elements from Hollow Knight that fit in with the gameplay, other than that it's not like HK. The fact that you like one over the other comes from what's important to you, not because one game is inferior to the other.

Just some suggestions for a good metroidvanias but you’ve got Ultros, Moonscars, Ender Lilies, and of course axiom verge 1 and 2. There are so many good MV’s. It’s so nice.
Somber Echos (demo out), Haak, Grime, The Devil Within: Sagat (launch Nov 21st demo out), Deaths Gambit, Ender Magnolia (early access), Mandragora (demo out), Lone Fungus, Deviator (hollow knight ripoff), Haiku The Robot, Afterimage, Vapor World: Over the Mind (demo out, incredible), Aeterna Noctis, Carrion, Frontier Hunter:Era wheel of fortune, Astral Blade....... So many good titles in the genre
Can recommend Cookie Cutter to this list as well. It came out *very* late in 2024. Plays solid, cool and colorful sci-fi/cyberpunk world of monsters, mutants, freaks, aliens and robots and more, and there's more planned for the future. Characters, weapons, story beats, environments, bosses, etc. There is currently work on nigh full voice acting and ports to console. I love it a lot and hope the full tale may be told as support, skill and time allows for it.

Each individual enemy has a Grit meter which depletes through succesful parries. One Grit segment = One parry. Depleting a Grit meter puts them IMMEDIATELY into ther Execution state. Even with full health, they are now ready to be killed immediately. Gives I-frames for the duration, as well as bonus health and void. There's a midgame boss whom i, after five tries, killed in about two minutes purely by forcing myself to learn the timing of his parryable Combo attack. Killed him so quickly that I never got to see a special big attack of his. Many people have complained about the Parry feeling off. Others have found it just fine. Or described it as "It's effective, but attacking with other weapons is quicker". The lead dev made the parry timing a bit more flexible since release, but doesn't want to make it too forgiving. You're free to try and learn the Parry to that extent, but you'll always have more options if you don't jive with it.
My fellow gamers ,any tips for the last phase for the final boss in nine sols? Like my dude becomes so fast and does the anime style attacks ( the ones where he just vanishes and we see a white lime go across and we get hit ,or him going off screen of sort and charging at us from somewhere and so on ) Any tips ?
Nine Sols needs to come to consoles like..yesterday lol 😂 Skelethrone is pretty fun! Loving that game so far even though I'm close to beating it already and "f" that last boss in friggin' Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus! 😡 Never has a boss/chase sequence been more frustrating bcuz the developers didn't put in checkpoints throughout that pain in the butt chase the boss sequence and furthermore you have to start the whole dang thing over again if u die which most likely u will 😡 very ridiculous
The Devil Within: Satgat releases for PS on Nov 21st. There is a demo but not sure if there's a console demo. Souls-like, samurai inspired, with heavy focus on parrying. Little known.....yet to change, hopefully.
