Love this knife and have been carrying it fir a few years, solid companion knife for outdoors type stuff and I did file down the spine a touch for striking a ferro rod and scraping. Also there is a retention screw that allows you to tighten up the blade where you can make the draw stronger or weaker to suit yourself (mine was very loose when I got it). Ruike does an excellent job with the 14C28N also doing a cryo on every blade with a HRC of around 60. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
Greg I bought your suggestion for the OLITANS Al-G9040. Love the love love the red color with the screws and blade as black. Love it Dior the coloring😊
Thanks for the review brother. Got a quick question. I’m looking at purchasing something like the Tops Mini Scandi, White River M1 Caper/Backpacker Pro, ESEE Izula-II. Something in that small form factor. Price point doesn’t really matter. A mid to higher end steel would be preferred. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks so much! Stay safe!❤🇺🇸👊🏼
The Asher Fixies would be great s90v and 3v. If you are interested I have a very recent fixed blade video you could check out and 2 of my top viewed videos are fixed blades. You could check those out for ideas. The smolt in 3v is a banger for a good price. amzn.to/3YbD99d
I'm hoping you can help me. I'm trying to decide between this Ruike F118, SOG Tellus FX, and Kizer Cabox. These three have somewhat similar profiles. If you could only choose one of these, or if you can recommend a similar looking knife...I'd appreciate it.
I received the Cabox this morning. I returned the Cabox this morning. The straps on the sheath don't allow my belt to pass through (I can make new straps). The handle ring is in the exact wrong spot for me. Too far away for my pinky to use and too close for my fingers to feel comfortable in between.
@GBall_Vision Under $80. I waffle between sizes, which may be how I landed on the Cabox. I currently have the Kizer Muskrat and Outdoor Element Scout Feather as edc, and a variety of companions. I'm curious about the Smolt ergos. It doesn't look to have any outside of a 2×4 piece of lumber. People (like you & others) seem to like it, though.

Great info brother 👍🏻👍🏻 completely agree too. Ruike is on point no question. Thanks man
One of my favorite fixed blade knives. I wear it cross draw on my left side. Excellent value.
If anyone needs a companion fixed blade it's amazing 😍
Large 14c fixie what not to love
Green on amazon is 57ish dollars i think, black is 75 rn
thanks broski
I have several Ruike knives - not this one yet. Fit & finish are excellent and at the top of value for money charts.
Yeah man. I have I think 5-6 and they are all really solid
Thanks buddy
Another nice one
The only Ruike knife I have is the Ruike P 138-B. Tanto blade shape. A really great knife.
awesome knife & video

The stonewash on that looks great
Great carry 🔥 Ruike does well
Current in pocket: Civivi Elementum blade hq jade scales/black s35vn RIT dyed scales midnight purple
Great carry 🔥🔥
Looks nice for sure. I'm curious how secure it is in the sheath.
It's very secure. It's one of the most optimal companion knives there is especially right now on sale
Woof! I just got this one. Goes well with my Esee 6 and Jungulum
Great addition to them 😁
I would probably remove the belt clip and replace it with an UltiClip. Otherwise it looks good.
That would definitely be a good option brother
Today I carried my divo tallboy in 80scamo carbon
Looks like a winner there! How’s your foot?
It has its times where I can't put any pressure on it. After it's been up awhile. Other times I can walk on it either way it's painful 😂
Thanks for asking brother
😊😊😊
yeaaaaaaa
Ruike make some good knives.
Agreed brother thanks darren

About what's your price top? EDC? Or companion knife
