I'm crying in the office you guys, its not looking good. if also lost my both parents to covid-19 about 8 months ago each a week apart here in South Africa. my dad didn't know my mother past away before him and one week later on the same day he also past away. we say he in a way knew she past away and he could be without here so he let go and gone with here up to heaven. I'm doing well and i just take it one day at a time. celebrated both there birthdays without them and mine as well and now for the first time I'm celebrating Christmas with out them for the first time. and it warms my hart when the team at East Idaho News does good things this time of year, help other that needs it most.

They settled mainly in the Midwest where there were opportunities for agriculture. But I also know that there are many Norwegian-Americans who loves in Seattle. Idaho is located between the Midwest and Seattle. Thereby, there are probably many Scandinavians there as well. There is probably someone from Idaho who reads this and can confirm this. Among the Norwegians who emigrated, there were many poor people who were humble and grateful. For such people, it is natural to help others who are in need, as one has compassion in the need of others.

This is just beautiful. I'm crying so hard right now. I watched friends of mine daughters 8 & 4yrs old, while they went on an anniversary getaway in September. They come home from a fantastic time, and her father who lived with them was coughing, it ended up being COVID. Both of them caught it, she recovered but at the same time, both husband and father ended up in ICU. Father passed away last week, and add the service was beginning to start, this past Tuesday, they got a call saying that they needed to put husband on a ventilator. 😥 If you would, please say prayers for this family. ❤️ The wife is having a hard time keeping it together. Thank you so much ❤️

Oh my goodness, I have just spent most of the day feeling miserable and downbeat then I watched this ! Suddenly my life is good after watching what this chap and his children have gone through, we all need a wake up call! I know I did!

These people are my neighbors, and I am best friends with the kids he mentioned. I attended his wife's funeral, and I miss her still. I hav e to say that no one is more deserving of these gifts than this family here. This will not bring her back, but I hope it makes this easier for my friends. I don't know who thought of this family, but I want to say thank you with all my feeling for thinking of them. They are the best people, and they needed this.

Anyone who’s lost a close loved one knows the abrupt burden that comes along with a headstone even basic ones are very expensive. My father still hasn’t had the respects of me being able to do his headstone he passed in ‘18 then my sister passed this year on his birthday. Taking the savings i’ve had for my father and continuing to add to it till I can get him and my sisters dates and names ingraved into one. It’s a long process but means so much, secret santa really is a god sent blessing these headstones are equal to down payments on vehicles and such . So glad this mans burden was relieved of him may his wife rest in peace and his cancer stay in remission.
