Nice video, watched again😀 in prep for an upcoming AAWT trip from Hotham. You walked past "Bassalt Temple" just as you headed down towards Dibbins Hut. :D
I cross-country skied into Johnson hut from Falls in 1995 and 1997! It doesnt look like much has changed there... I don't remember a shower though, lol.
You probably did, such a small world 😂 oh wow I just had to google that, didn’t realise there was rockpools! We drove down to the pondage and the dam wall but didn’t walk down past that gate! Will have to go back ☺️
Hi. Great video. I’m just booking my trip now. Thinking of parking the car at Bright and taxiing to Falls and back from Hotham. Do you have better ideas or advice of transport or parking? Thanks!
How exciting! Transport is the hardest thing about this hike 😩 A taxi will cost a fortune but look into other transport options and companies such as 'Snow Dog Transport'.
You should avoid the profanity, it won’t be appreciated by a big percentage of viewers and will definitely cost subscriptions, and it’s worse coming from a female.
Finally got to see this video! Very nice. Just so pretty 🤩 Matt did a great job in the VID! 👊
Did you guys film a video on your hike? ☺️ he did heaps more in this vlog, getting better 😝
Going to do this soon. Thanks for sharing
Glad to hear, you'll love it! Hope this video helped you out!
Great vids, very informative , and maybe a couple of good lessons for alpine beginners
Thanks heaps Rob! Hoping others find it helpful 😁
Thanks! Hope to do it. We are moving down that way so want to explore the whoooooole area :)
Brilliant I’m enjoying binge watching 👍🏻
Amazing, glad you’re enjoying the videos 🙌🏼
Absolutely love the high plains, watching the video makes me want to get back up there for a hike again soon
Such an incredible landscape up there isn't it!
Loving this video - keeping it real! It's now on my list!
Always keeping it real 😂 amazing, you'll love it I'm sure!

Great video. What time of year did you go?

Wow that seems like a fair way! Sounds awesome! Was very surprised about the shower haha
Thanks for the video, we are planning to do this one this Xmas break. Hope its worth it.
I'm sure you will love it, great place!
Great video! Perhaps its the altitude, that made the hike harder than you expected.
Thanks Matthew! Yes it could well be that, or we just weren’t as fit as we thought we were 😂
Best quote “ fuck that it’s too heavy “
Haha always keeping it real 🤣
Just got back from falls last night, spent 3 nights camping near langfords gap. Wanna get back this winter to ride, so keen. Wicked hike too mate.
We got back from Falls last night too! We camped Saturday night at Pretty Valley, great campgrounds!
@@AdventuresofKatelyn Oh nice I went to check out the rockpools at pretty valley, probably drove past yas at some point!

Would you recommend carrying a solar panel or a battery pack should do?
Battery pack would definitely be enough for this hike as it’s only 3 days. This solar panel was new and we were trying it out for the first time!
how big were your packs? :)

Nice video
Thank you!
r you allowed to set up a tent at mount nelse summit
I’m not actually sure to be honest! You would have to check with Parks Victoria but I wouldn’t camp right on the summit as it is very exposed
How do you get water along the hike?
In lakes and rivers. There was plenty of water during this hike. The first campsite also had a rainwater tank.
Awesome vid. SEC = State Electricity Commission
There ya go! Thank you 😂
Tree-mendos vid.
