I wish there was more info on his setup. I rally my 3.0l v6 mr2. Transmission out of a 2nd Gen mr2, c60 TRD limited slip, bilstein suspension, etc... I hadn't seen Chris's car in action before, definitely a little rocket of a car. This is the only video of the car I've found. Thanks!
@@toddthezondalover645 I remember when I was a apprentice and the boss had a dirt track mr2 like this and when we built it and took all the weight out I went to pull it out of the workshop and went to turn on the gravel carpark and it went straight after that we put weight in the front

As far as i know its a fwd SR20 setup shoehorned in there. It clearly works very well

Looks like a bit too much rear end downforce, surely? Either need something up front to counterbalance or reduce the size of the wing.
He won the title 12 times, I think he knows what he is doing.
These things didn’t sell too well in France as MR2 is pronounced as ‘merde’ which means shit
