Motorcyclist Magazine is literally the only motorcycle publication i still watch on YT. No one is close to as good.
True that!
Watch Gizmag bike reviews...produced by Loz Blaine, the guy theses guys thanked for his help on this trip.
Agreed!
Word!
I enjoy MotoGeo as well.
Production value is off the charts. Absolutely stunning. Very well done.
it really is awesome
it really is awesome
this is nothing compared to PowerDrift
'Anjaana' 'Mimi' Haha! Are you kidding?
Freaking unreal location that can't be captured by a camera but 4k helps...
As an Australian, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to explain a little history of the Great Ocean Road, rather than just speak about the (spectacular) bikes. Great video - subscribed!
Props to the mysterious cameraman!
You mean Spenser Robert and Loz Blain? (in the credits)
That original Gixxer is stunning
The one in this video is my dads
@@connorz2854 - Hats-off to your dad for keeping that beauty in tact.
those 86 models were so cool !!!!....but i loved my gpz !!!
So what's better on the road, the 750cc or the 1000cc gxsr?
Four years later, this was SO good! The comparison of the roots to the modern Gxsr was tastefully done and holy cow, the beauty of that road and coastline almost brought tears to my eyes. On Two Wheels with these two was the best!
best motorcycle journalists on youtube
Chris Garcia columns are actually good too online, and in the mag.
yep i agree, ari & zach "get it" fun guys & no bs!
Oh come on....they are in the best FEW....fortnine and missenden flyer are up there.
I would LOVE to see a retro-style GSX-R/GSX-S come to market. The twin round headlights tucked inside a front cowling brings me back.
Excellent production guys!
Awesome video production quality! I thoroughly enjoyed this until the end. Thanks for the great video :D
we love to watch your videos too brother.
Surreal. I've been watching these guys for years, and they just rode down the road I live on?! I run a pub on this road! Super crazy seeing them ride through stuff that is so familiar to me. Thanks for a great video, you showcased my area better than anyone I've seen attempt it.
Which pub is that? I’ll come and visit on my Kawasaki Z900 RS.
That was great to watch AND listen to which you can rarely say for motocycle reviews on RUclips!! Well done and thanks to Antique Motorcycles for lending the bike. Great way to show how far bikes have come and how great our country is,,,,, but you really need to give vegemite another go :-) I rode my Suzuki RG500 along the Great Ocean Road in 1988. Higher speed limits, less traffic and zero police presence. They were good times
absolutely amazing video. great to see this amazing content instead of the bullshit motovlogs that are everywhere
Canadian Rider you are so right.
Well said !
The 2017 is technically advanced but it has 1% of the 1985's sheer presence and THAT is what Suzuki needs in the 2017 model.
True. Its 10 years older than me, but theres just something magic about them. But you cant blame em with the new model, it has to be competitive.
scottieray I think you guys are being a little silly.
So what can you suggest then? Please tell them your idea.
I agree,, the original looks aggressive and ready to win any race whereas the new model looks like its dressed for a run down the catwalk modeling dresses for the new women's springtime fashion line.
one of the best roadtrip videos i've ever seen! (y)

I'm so glad that 1985 was my erra for super bikes I've owned gsxr 750 1100 and a fz600 Yamaha and let me tell you all the memories are priceless on them
Barry Henning was behind the idea of the original GSX-R. Legend has it he didn't eat and sleep but rode his GSX-R day and night beating everyone on track and on the road. What a chad, what a legend.
OMG!!!! In 1984, I bought my first Suzuki GS, and all I had was *posters* on my wall of this "soon to come" GSX 750R. And here is that VERY BIKE!!!!!
That 85mod....in the lack of word, its just... 💓
Awesome you two! .. Keep doing what you do, I'm glad you enjoyed Australia. With Vegemite, you don't spread it like you do with peanut butter, you spread it nice and thin.
Great Ocean Road is awesome.
Motorcyclist Magazine you guys rule!
Amazing video guys! Literally the best 2017 GSXR video on RUclips (I've watched all the others already). Comparing new and old in an awesome road trip was a perfect touch. Keep it up!
These chaps at Motorcyclist Magazine and BVG @ 44Teeth are the best reviewers by far... just my opinion
Have an 85 myself. What a machine, a raw kind of bike. Bloody love it
American who lives in Melbourne here. The GOR is the best ribbon of road I've ever had the pleasure of using. If you guys ever come back to Melbourne and need a bike, you are more than welcome of using my Tuono 1100 rr
Oh really? I may just have to book a ticket, because that 1100RR of yours happens to be one of my favorite motorcycles. Of all time. Such a beast!
Ari Henning you should check out the great alpine road. if you catch the weather right in November, you can start at the beach and ride to the mountains tops where there is snow! just a few hours to the north east of Melbourne.
Regis Stockert - I agree, the Great Alpine Road and area of Victoria is outstanding riding!!! I mean it fellers! Do it next!!!!! Regards from Sydney
amazing! beautiful scenery great bikes interesting story! keep up the great job you guys!
You should get over to NZ while you're down here. Queenstown to Glenorchy, Te Anau to Milford Sound, Wanaka to Haast, West Coast. Some of the most scenic motorcycle roads on the planet.
What time of the year is the best to make the most of that run?
Dean Best time is summer so October - March and yes i second Deans statement having ridden this for years lived in Christchurch before the skaky times absolutely stunning - also done great ocean road and tassi - ocean road is beautiful just so much traffic and cops u wont get your knee down more a pleasure cruise which is fine somtimes its better to sit back and just enjoy the view.
Im moving to NZ a few months with my Kiwi partner and going to be living around Nelson... I can't wait to ride around NZ
I have done Queenstown to Glenorchy, in part, in a car, and it was bloody awesome. NZ is truly stunning!
I can't stop look at that old GSXR. It looks SOO good....
Awesome work :) made my day
I think even if I wasn't interested in motorcycles that I would still watch this show. Two of the most likable dudes on the internet.
It may seem like I'm bragging but I'm here from when they had 12k subs and one thing I've seen them have is consistency unlike any other related content creators! you never cease to amaze me M.M
So happy you guys found your way down under, hope the great ocean road was as unforgettable as it seemed - I've never had a chance to ride it. You put out the best videos hands down, mechanics talk, bike reviews, beautiful road rides and trails and some awesome vibes coming through the camera lens.
drone footage, montage..all of it looks amazing ! good job & thx for sharing !!!
I absolutely love the On Two Wheels episodes.
Keep it up, boys.
Love this video, back in 1986 I thought the original GSXR750 was too focused for me, now years later I have had 6 GSXRs all sizes. I like when the boys get out of the garage and take us on an Adventure. I have many other manufacturers sport bikes and love them all but the early GSXRs wore shocking in their day. I am glad you took time to give credit to the construction of the road builders. I have given credit even years ago to the road builders of The Gap, Cherohala Skyway, Bear Tooth Highway..
Great video again guys! keep the good stuff coming, and im glad you enjoyed Australia soo much.
Hands down the most beautiful on two wheels video ever. Also added the great ocean road on a motorcycle to my bucket list. Cheers!
FINALLY! been constantly checking RUclips for a quality video about the 1985 GSXR.
By far my favourite episode so far, big shout out from Australia to you both from myself and a co worker owning both the Gsxr’s in this video. Great job lads keep up the awesome videos.
My God! That shot coming over the hills was simply amazing. Such a great ride.
This is some excellent content. Thanks guys.
Love the adventures that these two go on, the chemistry and comedy is fantastic. Keep up the great work👍
Dude, what an awesome ride. You guys rock, always keep coming back. Hope to see you on the roads!
Guys, that was awesome! I loved your video, especially Eric's description of the 1985 Suzuki while riding it. Really worth watching. Well produced, well filmed and well post-produced. Congratulations!
Always stoked to watch you guys ride bikes and listen to your commentary. Even better you made it here to Oz. I have some great memories of riding the GOR and this video brought it all back to life. Keep on keeping on, thanks!
Great video! Informative, entertaining and well produced. As an older Aussie, I especially liked your tribute to the WW I veterans who built the Great Ocean Road. Nice touch.
Congratulations on a great channel guys. this episode was awesome as it reminds me of my own ride down south.
Plenty of great rides up here in Sydney too. :)
so good to see you guys down the great ocean road, i dont live too far away and always go riding and driving down there its so good
This was just so beautiful and serene - A perfect mix of lovely bikes and breathtaking scenery! Now I want to ride there!
Great vid! You guys really do show how much you love bikes and its great to see good friends and good bikes on some fantastic roads! keep it up
Undeniably the best motorcycle roadtrip i have seen.
best motorcycling team ever!, not over the top, entertaining, informative and tells it like it is. keep up the wonderful work!!
Thank you guys for another great On Two Wheel episode! AWESOME!!
Excellent video and audio quality. Your hard work is appreciated guys!
This is literally the most beautiful video I've ever seen. I'm not a tourer. But just this 18 min vid made me think of the touring bike I'm gonna buy soon. MM made my day! Cheers guys!!
Great Ocean Road looks AMAZING!
Great to see a video made in my neck of the woods guys. Hope you enjoyed your time down under. Keep up the good work.
Brilliant video boys. I loved your tongue in cheek commentary. I did this route in a Mitsubishi Magna with my mother in law in the back coaching my driving. She doesn't have a license herself, but she never let that stop her teaching me. What a gal.
You have inspired me to do it again but on a bike this time. The mother in law won't be on the pillion either....
Guys, seriously absolutely stunning video. It was very entertaining and you guys have great chemistry on screen. Looking forward to more videos like this and a detailed video on the new the GSXR.
Thank you for this video. Please keep making them :) keep up the good work.
Beautifully shot video, really enjoyed it, thanks
I'd take the original any day. I remember when I saw my first one in '84 like it was yesterday. I can only remember one other bike like that and it was an RC30 in the IOM in '88. I can also remember a magazine article on a GSXR static engine test where the exhausts were glowing cherry red. 🍒 Great moments in my lifelong love of motorcycles. I have many ( first look at an RD 500, push starting a racing RG 500, getting passed by a pristine XT 500, being smoked at the lights by a Katana 1100, seeing a CR 500 doing a double jump, being petrified of driving a GSXR 1100 etc.etc.) but these two have a special place.
Great bit makes me want to visit and ride this road..love the classic ride!!
What a ride, man! It's a dream to someday ride on this beautiful road with these engulfing sceneries.
enjoyed that. looking forward to more trips and reviews. keep up the good work.
I like the out-takes at the end!!
You guys are awesome. Enjoyed this so much. Please never stop making videos
When it comes to capturing the feel of what it means to ride a motorcycle, nobody comes as close as you guys. Rock on
Fantastic Video gentleman!!! seriously great bikes, great location, great entertainment. Well done
Great video as always! Never missed an episode!
Im a local and absolutely loved watching this this video.
just found this channel and was beautifully reminded to my red and white 88 GSXR long time ago
One of the best motoring videos on RUclips. Love you guys.
One of the best roadtrip videos i've ever seen!
Thanks for this video I have an 01 GSX-R 600 and love it. I thought about getting a new bike but instead put new bike money in my old bike and love it even more. GO GSXR Fam!!
did the same with my 06 F4i. It's a great bike when its in good shape
Is it sad that I'm jealous of Zack and Ari's bromance? It's good to have friends like that... What a trip, fellas. Damn.
Guys, this is your best one yet. Inspiring and awesome.
Guys, I love you. Great video as usual. Keep up the amazing work!
I had a -87 of this gixxer 750 and they are wild. The sound they make is amazing. And one in mint condition are for sale at around 10000$ in the US and Europe. Great value!
Great video guys! Enjoyed those final drone shots.
Wow.. Beautiful video guys... loved it...
WOW, kudos to the film crew, the production staff, and the editors. You guys really made took this video to the next level. The drone shots, color grading, camera work, editing, sound. All the details were top notch.
And man! Has it been a while since Ari and Zach have been in a video. Please please please make more content. If that means more staff doing video production, please make it happen.
I loved watching this video, on many levels. Having owned a blue and white 1987 GSXR750, there's no mystery there. It was the bomb back when I bought it new. I remember liking the 18" rims compared to the 16"F and 18"R of the other contemporary sportbikes of the day. The added stability added confidence to my developing riding skills. I also loved sitting " in " the bike. Great job guys !
Great video guys. Good to see you in Australia too.
WOW, awesome video guys. Thank you
Fantastic episode. Thanks!
Unreal video! Love this channel! Go to the Island all the time and have a house on the great ocean road - couldn't have made a better video guys!
Very well filmed, original and entertaining! keep'em coming!
This is a great video. And I am missing these two guys a lot.
I moved from the UK to Melbourne in January, picked up a GSXR last weekend, and cannot wait to do this ride!
Makes me proud watching this video! We're so spoilt for choice with great roads here in Victoria! Great video guys - keep up the great work!
I remember the 85 GSXR and it's following 80's models. Man that bike was the coolest thing on wheels!
Awesome content! Keep up the great work guys!
This is really good, genuine motorcycle channel. Love watching your movies.
That last shot from the drone was very nice. I'm dying to get over to Aus/NZ. Thanks for the vid.
Great video guys !! That was fun.
Very good! Thank you guys!
Looks like great Ride. Thanks for posting.
The ‘85 gsx-r is sooo much better looking than today’s edge styling I guess you’d call it. Just looks like the bodies are chopped up. Love the solid full fairings of the bikes of my generation. My first bike was a 74 Suzuki GT 380 in ‘79 and my third was a new Suzuki GS 1100E in ‘83 for $3495. What a time.
fantastic video. thanks so much, i need to go to Australia now
That was Great to watch, captured the feel of the place perfectly.
