i dont have a halogen bulb in that inner projector on my a3, its empty looks like i can install one myself , but how do i find the wiring that goes to that bulb seems i cant find them if i open the whole headlamp
Correct me if wrong. So the halogen bulbs are the high beam when you push the stalk away from you. When pull it forwards you to flash them the Xenon ones do that.
The stalk towards you up to 3 sec is just regular factory setting- flash with both xenon and halogen. The Stalk towards you for more than 3 sec will leave these xenon+halogen lights on. Now the stalk away from you or towards you will switch this double high beam mode off. Regular xenon high beams are in the same position- stalk away from you. This description may look complicated, but In real life it works very easy.
coding and steering angle calibration is needed for replacement module. If you put back the original module, you only need to calibrate the steering angle sensor (G85). Both coding and calibration is 5 min job if you own a vcds or some other tool (autel/launch products or even autocom would do the job as well).
no, none of facelift a6 4f with bi-xenons have this function. Some vw models have 4 headlamp coding option, but not this particular car. Some 4f owners are driving while holding the stick with left hand in flash position to get better road visibiliy; We made this solution for a reason.
this video demonstrates our upgraded module which can do both halogen and xenon beams at the same time. Available here (not in stock until April 2nd) carhack.eu/home/10-light-switch-module-for-better-high-beams-audi-a6-4f.html
Hi, i have a problem with my headlights. Same car 2009 model. It seems like i have bi xenon. But the «yellow» lights on my car does not work, its not a blown fuse. So at dark i can bearly see anything. Does anyone know what it could be? I just bought the car a month ago. Appriciate any help
hei, the halogen lamps will only be on when the stalk is held in "flash to pass" position. In this video we demonstrate our product that allows to have them on as regular high beam. Please let us know if you have more questions.
@@carhackchannel6038 the halogens ARE the fog/parking lights (at least that’s the case on my S6). If you pull the headlight dial outward, you can turn them on. I really don’t see the point of this accessory…
Hello. What do I have to do to keep the halogen bulb on in the main beam? Can you give me all the necessary steps?
So what’s the difference between the two? Stalk away and toward you? I see no difference, both times both the xenon and halogen bulbs are on???
Are there any component protections to blow up? or the 3rd image is enough for the modifications ?
this module has no component protection, Just copy coding value from your ori module and paste it to the new/modified unit.

can you reflash your module? does this function come as standard to some A6 4F models?

If I was to order this how do you install it?
I have the facelift 4f model. In this case what is the function of the halogen bulb because mine has bi-bexonen. And how to turn them on?
halogen bulbs are used as flash to pass lights. With our modified module it is possible to use them as high beams.
