My late parents had a on old reel to reel tape player and that was how we heard music. Dad worked at Decca and got a lot of tapes cheaply so we had shadows right from my birth in the 50's. As soo as I was old enough mum got me guitar lessons and later played in a 'Shadows' type band. Hank was my idol - still is. Cant believe at ONE of their 'last ever tours' we were sat in the front row and I spoke with him - that made my year. He makes a guitar sing like an angel.
