In the future, please spend some time indoors, in poor lighting. Great review. And you can set the volume buttons to act as physical shutter button and you can also adjust the temperature and or shadows with the on screen sliders before you take the photo

11:40 actually the Pixel line up starting from 2 actually does have Astrophotography through the software updates. You need the phone to actually be stable for a couple of seconds in night mode for it to actually pop up though
Is it just me, or does the panorama mode simply not work on the 4a. The resolution is so much lower. I expect the same resolution from each stitched image, as I get from a normal capture. My normal capture files are 12mp and even a very wide pano seems to result in only a 6mp image! I always hold camera vertical for a pano to maximise vertical fov. But, each of my pano images has a max height of like 1600 pixels ! Should be well over double that... Please can you review this, or maybe suggest a setting I've missed?

@@soldostrich8641 well, yes because of software updates mainly honestly. This 2XL still rocks although the one I'm using is in mint condition with a decent battery and white.
The question is not whether the pixel 4a can replace professional cameras. Nobody actually expects it to be comparable to them. No one is going to buy this phone to replace their professional cameras.
If someone can send me a pixel 5 I'd be more than happy to do so haha. The reason why I did a review on this phone is because my pixel 2 stopped working and I needed a new phone.
No I didn't try astro photography, I only tried the night mode on the camera and have very positive things to say about it. My main reservation about astro on the Pixel 4a is simply that I can't stack images or blend them so the ending result wouldn't be any good, to me atleast. I did use the shadow and exposure controls before taking photographs and I mean they work like they're supposed to, but generally I don't mess with them as I shoot RAW and could edit them after if I really needed to. Also the auto exposure works very well so no need to mess with shadow or exposure.
Good video, honest. Obviously the photography is not at professional level, you can't have both worlds, bur for 90% os the regular people, it's great, a lot easier to use and cheaper to buy than buying a semi-professional camera, with very satisfying results and amazing convenience. Even at night. Let the pro equipment for people who can use it's capacities properly.
I'm having trouble taking videos, the pictures after down loading are boxed or pixelated . I was hoping you would discus the adjustments this /phone has and the best adjustments to put into a computer. And it was nice of you to shorten the video but as soon as I seen you with a mask on when no one was around, I went quickly to 13:23, you are hypnotized by a political element and as I suspected you are not a FACT BASED person. What makes the camera so great would have been worth watching.
there is no way on earth a phone camera can replace a proper camera. if you ever look at the photos out of the camera, on a monitor or a bigger screen, photos are flat, not sharp. colours are off. grainy. not even close to a proper camera
You can take astrophotography photos on the Pixel 4a and they look great. I don't think your review was honest and unbiased. Next time when you make a video about something make sure to know what you are talking about. Dislike from me sorry
I don't understand why Google makes phones so expensive. The pixel5 is very expensive, more than € 600. Google should sell the cheapest mobiles since they obtain from us all the information that we give them without charging anything. the Pixel 4a is missing a wide angle lens

@@soldostrich8641 well the pixel 2 had a better processor brighter screen better materials etc for it's time.
@@mirashcamaj3846 yeah for it's time, but if you had to choose between the two and the 4a, you would choose the 4a
@@soldostrich8641 well, yes because of software updates mainly honestly. This 2XL still rocks although the one I'm using is in mint condition with a decent battery and white.
The question is not whether the pixel 4a can replace professional cameras. Nobody actually expects it to be comparable to them. No one is going to buy this phone to replace their professional cameras.
Photo sphere !!! No one is taking about it!
Average people and what not I’m impressed really really impressed
I don't have money to upgrade my lens, I'm considering to get a good phone camera instead
get a 50mm or 35...phone camera is no replacement for dslr atleast at the moment
@L. J. Black I know, but I'm in South East Asia. New and 2nd hand pricing for DSLR is really tough here. I don't even earn more than 900 USD
Is it going to be launched in India ??
DEVI yes 17 oct flipkart
@@akhilsharma5235 yes I know, btw thanks for the response 👍
Where did you buy your phone?
from the google store, I also bought the case from their as well
what about macro??!
Please review the pixel 5? loved this video btw! got yourself a new sub! :D
If someone can send me a pixel 5 I'd be more than happy to do so haha. The reason why I did a review on this phone is because my pixel 2 stopped working and I needed a new phone.
Panorama - spheric photo now I think
Best review.Best route ahead..
You didn't try the Astrophotography or the shadow and exposure controls.
And there is a astrophotography mode
Thanks for this video. Good job. (BTW Please take off the mask while shooting "talking head" parts.)
It has the dot when you taking 366 degree
Do one with pixel 5
If someone sent me a pixel 5 i'd be more than happy to haha.
8:35 front and the back camera 😂and shows the opposite
Nice video btw
Honestly it gets all mixed up in my head haha, I don't normally use phones for photography so it messes with me
The Project Photography no worries bro
We all makes mistakes, was just funny
The video was great👌🏾
Very good.......🤯
He said photographer 43 times in the video.
For you the xperia 1ii is the perfect device
there is no way on earth a phone camera can replace a proper camera. if you ever look at the photos out of the camera, on a monitor or a bigger screen, photos are flat, not sharp. colours are off. grainy. not even close to a proper camera
Yeah, but the fact is this is a budget phone. That considered this is a very good camera.
Now do the same video with iPhone se 2020
Good review
Ahhh we’re Claremont neighbors 😂
Ayeeee, I knew someone would notice haha.
@@TheProjectPhotography Girl next door 😁😂
You can take astrophotography photos on the Pixel 4a and they look great. I don't think your review was honest and unbiased. Next time when you make a video about something make sure to know what you are talking about. Dislike from me sorry
Try ported Gcam for your phone..you will be impressed with it in comparison with your old camera...GCAM is all about software optimization...
Great!!!🔥
Great camera phone
Are you a filipino? Your wearing a Maui and sons shirt which is a filipino brand.
I don't understand why Google makes phones so expensive.
The pixel5 is very expensive, more than € 600.
Google should sell the cheapest mobiles since they obtain from us all the information that we give them without charging anything.
the Pixel 4a is missing a wide angle lens
