nice video bro, do you think we can chande the cpu? I want another to play valorant with a little more fps, i don´t even know the name of the socket haha or if it is posible
I don't know the exact number now, but if you enter your laptop make and model into eBay, filter for used item and you potentially can find same parts as yours
@@christiangelera8972 you can install M.2 SSD, but remember, this model only support M.2 Sata SSD, not M.2 NVME SSD. before buying, ask seller, because it's look alike.
I have this laptop and its not charging now, when i try to charge it, the light on the charge blinks and the laptop gives a burning smell but doesnt show any signs of charging, tried to run a voltage test and the voltage seems to be running everywhere except to the charging port, the technicians are charging me an arm and a leg and i just want to use my pc to study😪 what could be the problem
Burning smell isn't a good thing. I am not sure what is causing it and I strongly advise you to find some reliable technician who can help you with this. Maybe a friend who could make it for free. If I would troubleshoot it, I would first open this laptop up and check if I find any burning marks inside on the motherboard etc. After or before that, I will use a multimeter and test the charger, the DC jack is removable on this one so I will test the DC jack too. If all that works, blame the motherboard and it is relatively cheap on eBay to buy one. Find the same specs and replace it. Re-apply changing thermal compound. But again, I have been dealing with laptops for a good 12+ years. It could be overwhelming especially if it is the only computer you are studying and relying on. I hope you will figure this out. Thank you!
@@regazzz I realized I was using the multimeter wrong, there is flow from the charging port(on my laptop) to the battery but still, even when I use my friends charger the light on their charger starts flickering too and there's no sign of my laptop charging(orange light), on one of the connectors( thin belt looking connector next to the battery connector) there's blue ink looking like mark, I'm not sure if its a burning mark but the yellow sellotap that was there has dark spots on it that trace the blue ink that is on that connector, I'm not sure if it was burning or there was an ink inside... and oh yes, when I connected the charger to the port there was a spark that came out there before the whole flickering thing started...
I need to re watch this video to say exactly what can or can't be removed first. Sometimes laptops are designed that you can't remove the motherboard before screen hinges and vice versa. What cover are you referencing to?
Nope, I just don't take apart the keyboard if palmrest is good and I don't take apart the keyboard if there are plastic pins holding it. Or maybe you are referring to me forgetting to unplug the keyboard??? Well, shit happens :-)
Thank you so much for this 🤝🏻✨

Hello, I have the same model, I saw that it has M.2 slot. Does it support M.2 SSD? I plan on installing one for OS, thank you!
Good evening, I would need to watch this video first, but I would also Google if possible. I am away from big screen. Can't say now.
@@regazzz I googled also but the result always leads to SATA SSD upgrade, I found no M.2 SSD upgrade from other users. Appreciate your reply

@@regazzz I figured out where the smell was coming from, it's from the power jack, seems I have to replace it with a new one 🙏🏾thank you...
This was my old laptop and my dad wants it back, what upgrades should i do for him?
Ssd and ram ofc
Can we remove the cover without removing the hdd and ram?

Pls mine is ryzen 5 2500u does it have an m.2 slot
Yeah bro it does have
But its only m.2 ssd not nvme so keep that in mind
what about the keyboard?
If it is not unscrewable, I don't remove it. If unscrewable and worth the price/time spent unscrewing - I unscrew it.
Forgot the keybord

Excellent! Thanks!
