Kingston has great tourism potential thats waiting to be tapped. You have show cased them beautifully. The recent opening of the Port Royal Cruise Port could capitalize on some of these attractions. For example, a boat ride to Lime Key with its gorgeous view of the Blue Mountains and the city view, Rockforth Mineral Bath touting its health benefits, and a not to be missed sightseeing tour of the harbour to the Waterfront and Craft Market etc. The nearby magnificent views of the Blue Mountains has great potential for zip lining. The possibilities are endless.
Thanks so much for re introducing me to Jamaica again. I was born in St. ANDREW, but left years ago. The beach that was popular was called gun boat. I used to go to the property that the University is built on to pick mangoes and coolie plum. Only pigs goats and cows fed there so that tell you how long that has been and the changes. Hope gardens was our play ground on Sundays it was free then. Ya mon.
It would be great if you can consider tourists from other countries outside of the USA, Canada and Europe too. The currency exchange list didn't include any other currency although some of them can be exchanged in Jamaica.
There are no beaches for swimming in Kingston. 🌺🇯🇲🤷🏽♀️The sea surrounding most of Kingston is deep water and open sea with no reef to break the depth of the water. Swimming beaches for the public in Kingston is not something that’s terribly important to the government of Jamaica 🇯🇲🤷🏽♀️. The beaches mentioned in the video, Fort Clarence beach is a paid access public beach that’s 11 miles away in St Catherine. Lime Cay is a boat trip from Kingston. Wikki Wakki beach is miles out of Kingston in St. Thomas. There are way fewer public beaches than expected in Jamaica. Most of the best beaches can only be accessed at hotels or are private property🤷🏽♀️🇯🇲
I was quite prejudiced but Jamaica is a great island for investment and settlement. Western Money is still a factor in the Economy of this Carribean Island.
Kingston is a great city but it seems that crime in its suburbs and that could make many of the Tourists and locals might want to run away from the Island of the Carribean to West Africa.

You can go to West Africa!

Crime is mainly in the inner cities rather than in the suburbs.
Why is that so.
