    Thank you so much for the thorough review. The Atom LT was my first Arc’teryx jacket (I followed a recommendation from the Wirecutter folks in NYT and got it in ‘21). I have a question about it I hope you could answer.
    With the exception of one item, I grok this jacket - it fits perfectly, extremely comfortable, looks really nice - all that.
    The thing that does not make sense to me is the fleece side panels. From the get go I was feeling the chill when I’d put the jacket on (had no idea about the panels until I started watching your videos). Like yourself, I do not scale glaciers or go on multi-day hikes (at most a few miles’ semi intense walk to get me steps in). I do not jog (I am kind to my knees) so my workouts are confined to the gym.
    It sometimes feels to me that in order for me NOT to need a shell for the Atom LT the temperature outside needs to be so warm that the jacket feels too hot and in red to wear something lighter. If it gets to be the right temperature for it (50s?) I need to either layer with a shell (I just got a Gamma Lightweight hoody that works perfectly) - which is fine, but I am trying to understand the circumstances under which I could use the jacket on its own, and not as a mid layer :-)
    Very curious as to your thoughts here. And please continue posting the videos the content is great and because you are sharing something you clearly love, it is very enjoyable to watch.

    Hey, is the jacket you reviewed here a New 2020 version, or the Older version? Thanks!

    For cold winter is possible to wear a proton fl under it?

    • @meandmyjackets
      @meandmyjackets  2 года назад +2

      Yes, you could. The Proton FL is pretty much similar to the Atom LT, only lighter and more breathable. The Atom is warmer than the Proton LT

    Hey man! Just a quick tip. Be more organised when you speak. Have different categories to talk about, size, fit, functionality, specs etc. It gets kinda messy when you improvise and ramble. :)

      Actually "me and my" is a common American English phrase. - it's to emphasize his jacket "problem". It should also be noted that while there are established rules for any language, language naturally evolves over time.

      That's Awesome. Thank You! I know that the grammar is incorrect, but I just thought it sounded better, and I wanted to emphasize the "Jackets", and not the "I" in My jackets and I. :)
