Joy that you won the day, sadness that it’s the end of a great game, and peace knowing the Star Spirits have returned to Star Haven where they can grant wishes again and Bowser won’t try a second time to steal the Star Rod! 😊😁💖
Mr. Iwata passed away during the same week that I finished the game (for the second time). This music made me cry so much because he’s gone and I hoped he knew how happy he made people.
@@PaperMario64I read in an interview somewhere that Iwata San never had kids, but he thought of all of us as his children. He knows how much what he created means to us. He's up there watching us play and smiling down ❤
Today, I'm going to tell the story of "Star Spirits and Good Wishes." Far Far away, beyond the sky, way way above the clouds, it's said there's a Haven where the Stars live. In the Sancturary of Star Haven, there rests a fabled treasure called the Star Rod. Using the wonderous Star Rod, the Seven Revered Star Spirits, watched over our peaceful world. Carefully. Very carefully. One day, the evil Koopa King, Bowser stole the Star Rod and trapped the Seven Star Spirits in Seven Cards. Wishes were unable to be granted. Mario and the friends he made on his journey, got all seven Star Spirits and fought Bowser. But Bowser became too strong for even all Seven Star Spirits using the Star Beam. When all hope seemed lost, Princess Peach prayed to her Star Child friend Twink, and prayed to the Star Spirits with everyone in the land. With Twink and the powered up Star Spirits, Mario was able to use Peach Beam and defeat Bowser and return the Star Rod to Star Haven, and everyone's wishes were granted once again!
_we searched so hard for the princess and now she is here, rest my hero..._
I always loved the second part of the song the most
That part originates from Chanterelle’s song at Club 64.
This really is a beautiful theme though of the intro! 😊😁💖
Alfin... I found the Extended version of this beautiful Music that gives me joy, sadness and peace. 🥲
