Hello friends, welcome back to another video! Today, I'm finally sharing my 2022 bullet journal set up in my A5 Square Grid from Leuchtturm1917. It's a set up video, a walk/flip through, a 12 minute long video of me just babbling about my bujo- the works.. But it's not an art project, ok?? I love that your journal is neat and functional, it's honestly so hard to find videos of this style without the use of washi, stickers or detailed drawings.

It is so refreshing to see a functional, attractive bullet journal!! When I was first introduced to the bullet journal by watching a variety of YT videos I thought it wasn't for me because I'm not into stickers, I don't do calligraphy, my handwriting is messy, I'm not an artist, and what in the world is "washi tape?" When I finally saw a link to the website of the designer of the bullet journal and watched that vid, I was so excited to see all the things I don't like/can't do aren't needed!! THANK YOU for this walk through. Love the soft rose color of the marker!!
Thanks so much for watching! And I know what you mean. A lot of what is shared on this platform, especially for bullet journals, is just “content” posted for views and entertainment.. there’s nothing wrong with that, but I can see how it would discourage those who don’t want an art project out of their journal. 😅

I wish Leichtturm did a soft cover with more pages. I prefer the lighter grids and it's more transportable but I would end up using 4 notebooks a year if I solely used them.

And I know! It would be so nice if they had the soft cover with at least 200 pages.. hopefully that's something they do in the future!

As for the smudging issue, have you tried blotting paper? You’re right about getting used to it, but there are some days when smudging is more bothersome than others. I keep a blotter sheet in most of my active notebooks, and it eliminates a lot of my worries about using the “right” pen for a particular kind of paper. J. Herbin makes some, and it’s available at Jetpens and at other retailers.

I actually bought some of that blotting paper not too long ago, but I haven’t added a sheet to this planner yet because the Pentel Energel Clena that I switched to shortly after filming this is pretty quick drying! But I’ll probably end up sticking one in just in case!

Thank you, Martha! I'll have a video up soon going over all my signifiers and a plan-with-me, but essentially the highlighted parts on my daily log are for work-related things! Just to make em stand out on the page
Have you tried the new 120g/m² paper by Leuchtturm? Maybe the thicker paper could help with the smuding of ink or markers. I use the new BuJo 2.0 and it really absorbs the ink very well.

Hi! I've seen before where you mentioned this is the warm 5 from mildliner pack but I cannot find this anywhere on google - are you able to share where you purchased from?
So interesting you cut out the bookmarks. I’ve always liked them but it’s true they don’t really serve a purpose for me.
They usually fray after some time, so I cut them out of most of my journals.. I'd rather just use page flags or the metal tabs from Midori, since I have so many of them :P
