Q: Do you plan before, during, or after the week?
A: It varies from video to video, but typically I plan 2-3 times during the week and stitch the clips together. I rarely plan the entire week in advance or the entire week retroactively.
Q: Do you use all of these planners?
A: Yes and no. Every week, there is something in my life that takes priority over the others whether it be school, work, or something personal. Depending on the week, I select a few planners that will help me achieve my tasks! So not every planner is used every week.
Q: How do you get so much done in a day?
A: If you watch any of my journaling vlogs, you’ll realize that I have very poor sleeping habits and so naturally I’m able to fit more things into the day. It’s something I’m trying to fix but admittedly this is the only reason.

Love the way you use this journal to do whatever you want. It's a great outlet without all the "rules" of the regular journals. And, is it ever really too early to start using Halloween stickers?! 😂🎃

This size has been my preferred planner size for about three years. I love the little pocket size bc I find it sufficient enough it helps me not get overwhelmed or feel pressured to fill in the whole page with either stickers or doodles when I just want to keep it streamlined. As a bullet journaler ( that is quickly running out of pages ) this layout makes me feel better how random my bullet journal is and that it is ok.

Thanks for sharing this! I'm planning to use my new Hobonichi A6 Day Free as an unstructured (sort of anyway!) Bullett Journal for 2023. Some days I have nothing to write, and other days I write a lot, so I loved seeing how you just go with the flow in your pocket planner. It gave me some ideas of how I would like to use my new Hobonichi. Thanks, Helen...you seem to always post what I need at the time I need it!

Yes, that's why I use a pocket modern ad my planner: besides that it's small and cute, it's always with me and I plan and journal in it, it's a stress reliever for me, very useful. Try it out
Thank you for sharing. I have one small traveler's notebook from Stationery Pal that I have been using. I love the size and paper quality for under 5 dollars. I feel an A6 or pocket size journal are enjoyable, especially when I feel free doing my journal entries naturally. A5 is just too big even and Archer and Olive traveler's notebook are intimidating to use . So I will probably start out small and move to a bigger journal if needed.

this just validates my Bullet journal with stickers and all random things in there. Back then I felt like I use too many planners all at once (or in a year) but I am happy to find that it is normal hahahahaha... so yeah, I also have a bullet journal type where I place all of my to-do lists and daily happenings especially when I am out and bringing a lot of planners in a meeting is just weird for those who are not familiar and I don't want them going over my stuff hahahahah.. so I only bring this bullet journal and it has the same size as the hobonichi weeks.

7:22 same~! I only use the monthly planner because daily or weekly planner isn't for me but because of the 6 rows and I can't write key points properly. So I'm thinking maybe doing this... Really loved the concept of no rule journal/planner because I honestly can't commit writing everyday. Thank you for this video and I'm really inspired! 💕

I absolutely love this idea. I use the Archer and Olive. TN. Size notebooks and I have been wondering how to use them. I am just like you I don’t like the fact of sitting there and making monthly spreads every single month and for every single day because I don’t use it every day. This is an excellent idea, and I am totally using it for my travel notebooks.

Everyone going pocket these days 🤣 I like how they feel in the hand so I got an A6 daily journal (spontaneous and optional like yours) but that's all I can do in such a small notebook. I still prefer the Hobo Weeks for personal and an A5 bujo for work but I'm enjoying living vicariously. Love how yours looks.

since I started using monthly calendars (which were otherwise left unused in my daytimer 🙄) for MEMORY PLANING am not so bothered by odd monthly layouts - ITS REALLY VALUABLE REAL ESTATE for those otherwise lost memories 👍

if you really like only 5 weeks you can always but the 31st on the first row as there is no dates there
Pop the 31st in the top most left most corner. It will look weird to have 31 then 1 then 2 and so on, but, it will let you do five rows for the month instead of six.
