I love how the transition Heat 3 to Heat 4 was a dramatic change and improvement

Plutonium not an improvement. They still can’t get the game right with the transitions. Day to night should fade to day the night. Not go straight to a different setting each stage

Loving the hype for Nascar Heat 4 but it would be nice to have commentary at times and bring back what Thunder gave us with actual damages, replays and debris cautions
Back in the day EA Sports was doing SO many things right...then season after season, they just fell apart. Which one is your favorite?...(So I just went and grabbed my collection, lol I still have notes on little pieces of paper in my 2004 box!). I have 2004, 2006-2009-2014, 2015, Evolution and Inside Lane. Total Team Control is probably in the trash. I have notes in my 2007 box but no disk...hmmm (might still be in the PS2 collecting dust). I'm gonna say my favorite was 2007. 2015 is pretty cool too.

I also noticed that Sprint is on the side of Jeff's car. I'm surprised Monster Energy allowed that.
The thing is, Monster Energy has no jurisdiction over who is placed on cars. If that were the case all the sponsors and companies shown in the game would be conflicted with one another.

Still seems too easy to get underneath cars, although seems like they at least try to block a bit sometimes. Love that cars will finally push you and the outside lane isn't death
Yeah I think they should bump the custom AI to 110.
@@daytongraham8382 they just need to block the bottom more. You should be able to get runs but they shouldn't give you room on the bottom like that
@@BrandonA555 yeah I noticed that too but I still think they need to bump the AI up even if there blocking more I think it's just your speed against the AI.

I think the speed in nascar games is always off, cause they never hit 215 in real life, they barely get 200.

@@speedy5152 Still nowhere near 215. And they were hitting 205 with the 2018 config. This year they haven't gone over around 202

@@shilpi326 I thought about it I think if we mess around with the settings it will be harder I don't think it's the draft partner it could be that the player tire grip needs to be on low IDK when I get the game I'll see.

The only I wished is that the AI were dynamically aggressive, so in the first stage they'd be relatively calm, would let you in spaces, etc. And in the last laps they'd be making more evasive moves and not checking up when you block them.

I think the “top 5 drivers” thing is so far off, if they wanted to add it, at least put the right drivers.

If you noticed, it said 1 race. Which means, a race must’ve been run, and Alex won the race. What I’m guessing, it tally’s how many races you’ve run, and they average out the top 5 based off the races you’ve run. But I’m just guessing.
The speed is probably based on the cars during the daytona test. Reportedly they were doing excess of 210 with only 3 cars on track.
I can't wait to get my copy of gold edition so I can do a Jeff Gordon career mode. #24ever

Some of those contact moments should have definitely resulted in wrecks because of the speed and momentum, but it's nice that the very small touches don't affect the car as bad as it once was.

This game looks like a huge upgrade from Heat 3. If I’m being honest, from Heat 3-4 was more progress than from 1-3.
Everything I see that is way better here than in previous games.
1. PHYSICS. OMG they are so good. Also love that you can customize them to the amount of stability that you have. Also love that the inside is not the only place to run.
2. Gloss paint. It looks so good in the night. Go to 8:19 and just look at Byron’s car. OH IT LOOKS SO AWESOME!
3. Setups. You can tell that custom setups here are not needed to be successful.
4. The surroundings. You can see that the pavement, S.A.F.E.R barrier, catch fence, and fans/grandstands look way better.
5. Menus. Not much here, just looks better in my opinion. Little more detail.

This is the first NASCAR game I will be buying since papyrus had their epic game it's looking very close to that era looking forward to it
I really want to see a Short Track racing, especially Martinsville
And a Talladega gameplay could be interesting too

I think the only thing I have a major issue with is how low res the logo textures on the grass are, some of the gameplay I've seen has had pretty jaggy logos which is pretty odd for a game made in 2019, especially a racing one
Even then, that's a minor nitpick and I probably won't even notice it much

I would run the occasional 100% race on 105% dif on Heat 3 and you could always get to 2nd but never around the guy in first, just hang on his bumper and it was so annoying, glad to see so far it has been fixed
Nobody’s talking about the fact that there’s 2 24s, I hope we can turn Jeff’s car off and race without it so we don’t have William and Jeff side by side.

I didn't get a lot out of this video but one thing I did learn is if I'm ever by you in a race, I'm most likely getting put in the wall before I even get the chance to pass you.

I think Rad might be forgetting the plate package this year. I love this supers peedway package in cup this year. Plate racing is fun to watch again. I seen telemetry at the last plate race at Dega where Austin Dillon hit 215 before turn one.
It looks great but man they gotta knock those speeds down big time for the superspeedways. Also it looks a lot easier for the superspeedways at least.
They are literally using the rules package you see at 1.5 mile tracks on at Daytona lmao. You can see there's no extra drag that we saw at Dega and the 400 lmao.
@@Tylnorton You don't see those drivers doing 218mph though.... go watch one of the superspeedway races from this year. At most they top out at 208mph in the draft.
@@Eliteprecision29 Again, you didn't read what I said. They are using the rules package at 1.5 mile tracks at this track in the game. They were too fast in real life so they raised the spoiler and made the rear panels much lower which they did not do in the game.

The air package this year has more downforce and the cars this year were going 200-208 mph at Daytona I’m excited for this tho

some things i have noticed is that on the back panel of the 9 is suppose to say autocare in white is not napa know how anymore and theres no hooter logo above the moutain dew logo. and the 3 should be white even though i get is was red a t daytona

What was the difference in the 2 Jeff Gordon paint schemes?
One has the Coors Light pole decal and the other doesn’t

Yeah but here is the kicker. Your qualifying setup can bench mark 220 mph. But the racing set up. They limit the top speed to 212. So when they draft. They roll the gas back to between 1/2-3/4 as the draft can push that red mark and blow the car up within a lap at 212 mph. So try setting your high end speed limit to 212 and see how long until you see overheating light coming on :D

Yes those speeds are high, hopefully they can be toned down. Hey Radman I have been subbed to your channel for a long time and finally decided to begin creating my own content as well. Thought you might be able to take a look and see what you think. I do try and make my races about 45 minutes to an hour long with custom AI and pit stops that I control. Can I suggest you run a race at the Charlotte Roval? I'd like to see if there are any changes to the feel of the car on road courses and see if they updated the track to include that overpass

Looks good but looks like the stage for you ends when the leader gets to the line not when you cross the line. You’re unable to pass that one car just before the stripe... happened in both of the first 2 stages.

I am disappointed that they don't let you go in to pit row on a yellow flag. It will only let you go to pit row while under a green flag. It just adds more semi realism. I am loving what I see in everything else. A lot of improvements tho. I just hope the difficulty levels are a little more fair Heat 3 if you didn't have or no the right setups on the Legend level and sometimes the hard level you would NEVER be able to catch up to the AI cars .
