10HP Mini Quad THRASH + Top Speed Test!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 24 мар 2019
- We put a Tillotson 10HP 212cc engine on the smallest four wheeler we've ever seen, and it's a total death trap! Ike takes the quad off road, does wheelies, and we do some top speed runs. It's top speed is relatively low, but it feels very fast because it's so light!
Thanks for Watching!

CarsandCameras can u tell me what that atv is called I want one
How much do you want for that little quad I want it
Retro Vlogs he sold it
Stretch it about 2 1/2 feet, widen the rear end and put a little larger sand tires on it. Also, at least stage 2 on the engine. Love the content of the channel guys. Please keep up the great work.
I agree! Stretch the back end like a mountain rail or a drag bike! (~_^)-b
Yes you know what's up
I had a similar one and stretched it. Loads of fun!
This is exactly what I was thinking too, I'd love to see them do this!!!!!
Should do 65 MPH as is... too fast for that sketchy little thing... and no brakes?
3 minuets and 45 seconds into the video John has the biggest voice crack 😂
lol
YOU GUYS ARE INSANE!!!! Don't stop. loving this!
I think you should make an extended swing arm on the back and wheelie bars, tune it up improve the handling and use it at busco beech. Absolutely love what your doing guys keep it up!
Don't forget independent front suspension
+1, lengthen the frame out back, then it’ll take the power
+1 Come on guys extend the swing arm!
Njj
yeah get this thing to busco:0
Love ur videos, been watching almost since the beginning
I so love your business model John! Not only do you get to work on crazy projects with your best bud, but one can film the other no solo camera shot setups! 😆
It’s perfect as is! Great work guys I love it. More of a bar stool racer than anything else.
Love you guy’s ❤️ You guys Really inspire me on building homemade go carts and I really learned a lot thank you guys for everything
Smil3y_ TV to bad they get all there parts for free
I believe when the chain popped off when doing the burnout, the axle actually popped forward. I would check into that. That could also be some power and speed loss.
Austin Liveoak I saw that
It doesn't need anymore speed lmao
I don’t know why I’m so intrigued by this damn bike I’ve watched like every video on it, cool build guys.
Damn it you guys made me purchase a Mini Bike and relive my childhood! How absolutely wonderful you guys are. My mini bike childhood days were like most boys the very best days of my life.
I think y'all should stretch and widen plus full independent suspension on the deathquad, just my opinion, love y'all keep up the good work, I've been watching for years.
Extend the swingarm, build some suspension, and widen it...c'mon guys, don't give up on the wee Beastie!!
Wouldn't be so wee if you make it bigger
Giant tires, longer wheelbase :)
Keep going with the projekt! I diffently want to see you guys put some supension on it!!!
Thanks for the inspiration guys. I'm in the process of building a 212cc apc electra chopper.
Jon’s scared to death of all 19 mph from that little thing. You can see it in his eyes when he’s talking about putting it up 🤣🤣
2:50 that looked like a move straight outa some trials gameplay Ike did there! xD
Woohoo what a little monster keep em coming we luv it
Love the content as always! I suggest an extended and widened rear axle and suspension system. Say 2 to 2.5 foot rearward and widened about 1 to 1.5 foot. Use the original axle mount as the mount for the extension bars. Make a mount under the rear seat loop for a large mono-shock and adjust for a few inches extra lift from larger tires. You could also use the existing rear axle mount as a point for a chain idler or tensioner and use heim Joints to achieve some articulation.
I quite like this concept of an engine on wheels, haha.
Extend the wheel base. so you can seat more properly on it
move those back wheels back... even just 6 inches
I agree, on street bikes even just 3 inch stretch kits help with the wheelie control
Maybe add some pegs over the front wheels, it might keep the front down and make a better ride.
Good idea but might be easier to start from scratch
+1
“BILLY POP THE CLUTCH” 🤣🤣🤣@ 2:53 Great videos guys!
I just got done riding my 200cc Baja warrior rat rod mini bike and now I get to watch you guess today is good
You forgot to ask John to hold your Beer while you tried to go through that mud....LOL
Put a wheelie bar on it.
Sean Chastain ok
Make a swingarm rear end. love the vids, keep em coming
Super cool Mini Atv.I put a 212cc on a kids little dune buggy and that thing rips.Great job guys
Stretch the rear end to make it wheelie less. Maybe move it 8 inches rearward
also change the rear sprocket gearing
this, and maybe widen it by a few inches. the rear axel should be about 8 inches behind where your butt is. and then you should be able to put some shocks on it.
Backword 🙄
@@bev2423 backward
@@bev2423 backward*
Bahahaha! It sounded just like your intro when tried to fire the motor in the mud!
Extend the back end , widen the back axle, put beefier tires in the back, maybe a single shock (dirt bike style suspension) and highten the handlebars....maybe with a steer damper. Would be a beast...kinda like one of these dune/drag racing ATV:s.
Greetings from Northern Sweden!
Thanks for years of great entertainment, as always keep it safe but have fun!
This video got me excited for summer.
A single engine 4wd rally kart would look awesome.
Shaft or chain drive 😏 good bit of fabrication/engineering for you guys to work out.. Great content none the less
poor truck has a flat tire :( lol great video. can't wait to see that truck on the road
I love your builds yas got some great ideas
Laughed when I saw the neck brace. Spit out my drink when I seen the back brace lol
Imagine these guys on a banshee
The VW was the "Harlequin Golf"
Wasn't just the golf they also made a Jetta and a shirocco of the same year I have videos of the Jetta version from a car show in Washington (all factory paper work with it was a real deal)
@@dustinmiller7278 negative. Only the mk3 golf was OEM harlequin. If someone did it to a jetta, it was after leaving the factory. Also, it's "scirocco".
@@taylordarr3 it was a dealer thing. Not a factory thing
@@KodiTufo incorrect. The vehicles were completed in 1 of 4 colors and then assembly personnel disassembled and refitted the panels on different colored cars.
@@taylordarr3 there was also a MK5 rabbit. I have never seen on in person, but the commercial from 2006 has one in it. ruclips.net/video/b68Gm5Y6zTA/видео.html
Put REALLY wide slick go kart wheels and an extended swing arm on it. It Will be a beast
Would be cool to stretch the kid 4 wheeler and put bigger tires on it...and you guys are awesome
QUIT COMPLAINING JON this is perfect
OK, that was freaking HILARIOUS!
Haha it looks like your riding a 1/5th scale rc car.
Yea
I would say 1/4 scale but yea
It dus
Just looks like an xmaxx
Stretch that rear section and make a baby hill climber. That would be sketchy as all get out and a fun show!
I have been watching since u guys had 17 thousand subs
Haha...love watching two brothers-from-other-mothers having fun! You guys are killing it. Great niche.
Maybe the Grand Prix could be extended to twice around to make up for Johns advantages? :p
Extended swingarm full suspension around it and wider stance. Think it’ll be the first Chinese kids atv with an extended swingarm that I’ve seen 😂😂😂
It's Adorable.. 😅😋 You guys should rig up a Crash Test Dummy to ride that thing.. 😎
Lol
Build a trailer so you can pull the quad behind the monster truck. Lol
Great video you two
Stretch it and put a 2 smoker in it. 60-80-125cc in it
Oh yeah give me a little four-wheeler like that I'll put a 66cc 2stroke bike engine on it haha
@@Baldys_projects those bike engines are gutless
* Correction * Its a MINI trench digger! LOL!
BUT only in semi-dry conditions... 🤣
Note to self... Melted rubber burns!
Thumbs up! 👍🏼
Most sketchy build yet might even top the red wagon cart. Love the content guys keep up the fun work and stay safe. I'm still waiting for a true 4 wheel drive go kart with full drivetrain out of a 4 wheel drive quad.....
I would cut the frame and extend it forward and make a drag quad out of it just for short runs of course love the episode keep it ip
I'm telling you guys EXTENDED SWINGARM! And bigger tires, Make that thing rideable!
It'll mess up the whole idea.
@@LeoTonius The idea of what? Scrapping the project because it's "too dangerous" and not rideable? F that idea.
The golfs you’re talking about are the harlequin edition
Extended arm and weights on the front. Best of both worlds..
I feel like this is the drag quad everyone deserves.
Epic builds guys much love from new zealand, u should totally make it remote control. 1. Totally different 2. Think of the possibilities 3. Do it. 🤙
You guys should stretch it and move the foot pegs back to where you have more of a sportbike feel and if it needs it put a wheeliebar on it.
The Volkswagen you're thinking of that's all different colors is the Golf Harlequin.
I was thinking y'all need to add a wheelie bar to it. Like the one y'all put on the little black mini bike.
i love it i want one!! need to stretch it just a tad makes it more comfortable add the suspicion and bigger tiers and make fenders to stop the mud and then go riping
Stretch the frame to keep the front end down to reach it's full potential.
Way too much chain if they did that
@@SPEEDY1894 Jackshaft...
@@termone1493 yah they are famous for that :)
James woods yea just stretch it longer than the dragster and put like 15 jackshafts... easy
You need a four foot teenager to sign a waiver and go nuts on that thing
I was thinkin more like a 3 foot midget!!
I'm 5 8 and thirteen I'd ride that.
5, 3 13
Cant wait to see you guys at busco! Im bringing a 9hp 212 predator kids minibike that ABSOLUTELY RIPS. Also threewheelers...
Extend frame and swing arm for sure! Has the potential to really be a nice cart
Extend the rear part of the frame to move the rear axle back.
Everyone says "stretch it" , "wheelie bar" etc. What they don't understand is that you guys always try to get the most out of stock frames. If you mod it too much, you might as well build from scratch.
Tracy Autumn they already cut it up, no reason not to stretch it.
Ohhh gawd this thing rocks lmao show up to a dice run with this bad boy hahaha
Love this channel! Keep up the great work!
I have the same mini quad. I think im going to put a predator 212 on it now lol
Cody Stewart whats the quad called? I’m trying to find one
@@hshsshhwhwejejeje6652 I dont know the exact name, but ebay carries parts for it listed as a pocket quad or mini quad 49cc. Something like that.
Don't park it! Stretch the rear end out, put a wheelie bar, and some kind of suspension in the front
Bryce Flinstone gnhubbbbhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhehhen hbhbhhenhbhhnhb ehhehhhhhehhhhhb r rbhbhbrnnhjhjhjhhjhj. B
That thing is a perfect candidate for an extended rear. You could sit back farther for better comfort and weight transfer and I think it'd be less darty on steering you could maybe put some foot pegs way out in front of the front tires like a chopper so you can stretch a little. Cool build!
At 39 seconds Ike looks like a pelican. Sorry that was to good to let it go. Keep the the good work.
Ya'll need to stretch it and beef it up..
why don't you guys try and stretch it so it does not wheelie all the time lol
i would like to suggest learning video on tuning torque converter with different springs for more performance like some higher rpm taking off
When doing seat put extra lift I back portion to help with sliding off back, like some bigger motorcycles have.
Build a trailer so the monster truck gokart can pull the 4 wheeler😂😂😂😂😂😃😀😊
Put a wheelie bar on it and call it mini drag quad (like if u agree)
Quad bike looking like Optimus Prime Red and blue, "Autobots, Roll Out!"
Mad ride!
You really dont need to go much faster then that. 19 mph is fast for that thing.
I hit the like button and it was 212 likes
IMPOSTER.
Extend the rearend n put some wherls like the drag rail on there n beef up the engine i love watching y'all been watching yall since 2017
@CarsandCameras here’s an idea: remember the cool little “mini-rig” that was at GPS a couple of years ago? I think it’d be a cool tribute to the passing of Burt Reynolds, if you guys built a gocart version of “Bandit Two”, the Kenworth in Smokey and the Bandit.
Start with the Tilliquad, using the motor for the truck, using the wheels and tires for the trailer, then take the frame, handlebars and seat, and install them in... well, the nearest scrap-pile, preferably. 😏
You wanted us to come up with ideas for you to do...
1) put a Honda GCV160 5.5hp engine from a MOWER(yes, vertical shaft- all you have to do is rotate the carb/intake/relocate gas tank) onto a bicycle
2) put a Honda gcv160 5.5 vertical shaft engine from a mower onto a go kart
3) put a chainsaw engine or weed eater engine on a longboard
4) make a dual predator 212 powered tandem bicycle (that way you don’t have to “rockpaperscissors” for who gets to ride first)
5) swap some of the predator 212’s you have on your builds with predator 420’s
***note: the Honda mower engines are things you can easily get for free on Craigslist. I have one that I’m happy to do a project with you guys if you want. I live in NC probably under an hour away from you guys and have major ties with Elon. I emailed you and you never responded:(
you guys need to get those super knobby tires that are made for snow blowers for that 4wheeler. They would look and perform awesome.
Keep it up guys we love the videos, mabey a 1/4 scale nascart for some racing time with both of you!!!? Mabey another monster truck for ike, mabey a 4x4 diff from a Polaris atv this would be very cool, it can shift on the fly from 2x4 - 4x4 if you use the scrambler electric parts and diff !!!!!!!
U guys should do giveaways that u have to buy merch to enter to win some of the old projects. Great videos👍👍. Id like to see u guys make a full blown like Can Am quality Atv with some homemade frame u guys built and a street bike engine
Ive been looking for a Hemp Beaded choker, where did Ike get his? very cool design. Keep up the builds guys, awesome vids
I had the exact same type of four wheeler back in the day but mine had front and rear suspension
Lol so weird seeing the small stuff go. Maybe do some of them mini street bikes'
You guys should try getting your hands on a rolling three-wheeler chassis. It would be fun to see what you guys could do with something that isn't a normal atv or gokart. :)
Loads of ideas for something like that.... Move whole rear axle back (extended swing arm type thing), some sort of rear mud guards, lower tooth sprocket, go all out on the carb tuning (jet drill, porting) see if you can get it to rolling burn out
I made something similar, a kids 50cc pocket quad with a. 110cc pitbike engine with gears, was great fun I extended the rear end to stop wheelies but it's gets so tempting to drift everywhere now lol also extend the handlebars upwards to make it easer for tall folk! Once you get up towards 30mph they get very twitchy on the steering if you snap off the throttle
Sounds nice
Nothing beats to see pure fun than a grown ass man on a little atv.
Isaac...get off that thing, it's got 2 much power 4 you..!..lol.. thanks guys much love.! Happy memorial day .!
Add some width to it to stabilize it out. Then extend the rear swing arm to make it more stable during wheelies or hard launches. After that youd have a very stable very quick lil monster.
Make your seat lifted up and weld fenders love the vids keep it up
I've been saying for decades. A company should make a mini quad!
