- The MCU is my all time favorite franchise, so trying to rank every project is almost impossible for me. BUT I finally sat down and tried to figured it out with a ranking that has definitely changed by the time you're reading this.

While i don't agree with your ranking, i think you stay true to your beliefs, especially your age demographic, but you also don't apologize for it, and you actually go into depth about what you love about these movies and tv shows and i can't hate on that and actually appreciate it. As a fellow lover of superhero-based entertainment, I truly appreciate your positivity. ❤ I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment in the very beginning…none of the Marvel content is pure garbage. There is something to enjoy in each project, especially if you allow yourself to just be entertained, which is really what content based on comic books is all about, right? I actually didn’t see all of the shows that made up the Defender’s…only the first seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage. Based on your video, I’m going to go back and watch them, I think. I’m subscribing and I hope you make more great videos like this.
I love how vocal you are about how good Eternals is! I saw it in the theater. My brother and I were the only ones in there theater and it was truly such an amazing film. I was shocked that the theater was empty!

The incredible hulk movie feels like the most non mcu film in the series. That it just feels like its own thing in the corner somewhere not connected at all. Just got a weird vibe about it

I don't think I've ever agreed more at an mcu ranking. I definitely have some disagreements, as I think endgame is top 3, and I wasn't a fan of eternals or she hulk, but for the most part I agree with the ranking. And yeah daredevil is so good, best show of all time.

I definitely don't 100% agree with your list, but I'm loving some of the bolder choices/opinions, and your rationale, that go against what seems to be the general consensus on the internet. While I don't necessarily see you as an MCU 'shill', I appreciate you coming at this franchise as an optimist, rather than a cynic. It's a breath of fresh air, given the Marvel/MCU/superhero movie discourse that's happening right now. Definitely subscribed. I'm always baffled by "iron boy" complaints of Spider-Man Homecoming. The whole theme of the movie is that the tech doesn't matter, Iron Man says that like halfway through, and peter defeats toomes, who is using high tech btw, with just his webshooters (which he invented btw), the strength of will and his ingenuity. Heck the third act break is Spider-man being trapped under the building and calling for help, thinking he can't do it without that special suit and then realizing, no the suit isn't spider-man he is. But I guess some people just don't understand subtext?

Hey hey hey I will go to bat for Iron Man 2. Is it the best ? No, far from it, but at least it has Sam Rockwell doing Sam Rockwell things, and that was more than worth the price of admission. Also Quantom Mania should be dead last, at least in my ratings.

I immediately disagree with the post oh my goddddd. The incredible hulk has an incredibly first half, it's everything the hulk should be. Meditative, slow and a bit cerebral. There are so many other MCU projects that don't even have that honestly

Probably the first person I've ever seen to put the Eternals over Homecoming, Far from Home, and so many others. It wasn't bad or anything, and I actually enjoyed watching it, but I would NOT put it that high. Also what's you're reasoning for the Marvels being so high?

I think the only genuinely bad Marvel project is Quantom Mania and secret invasion, and even secret invasion it wasn't until the last episode that it was ruined for me.
I like the Chanel at first glance, the actual guy himself seems chill, but the fanboy mentality that marvel can do no wrong is gonna keep me from getting watching

If I were to group these by tiers, I'd go:
F-tier: 61-58 (Quantumania and What If S1 are the only two egregiously bad things to come out of the MCU, in my opinion. Quantumania is an absolute mess of a movie, and What If? is genuinely hard to watch at times, oscillating between mind-numbingly boring and plain bad, although the Hank Pym episode is genuinely good. I don't know why Groot S2 bothers me so much, and nothing really needs to be said about Iron Fist S1.)
D-tier: 57-53 (Call this the "very disappointing" tier. Not as outright bad as F-tier, but everything in this category could have and should have been much, much better. Falcon and Defenders are easily the most disappointing; both could have been so much better if they had just focused on the right things. Falcon has maybe the worst villain in the MCU and completely underutilizes Isaiah Bradley and John Walker, and Defenders is such an underwhelming payoff. While What If S2 is much better than S1, the Iron Man episode might be my least favorite thing in the entire MCU. Regarding Multiverse of Madness, I see the treatment of Wanda as a thematic betrayal of WandaVision, even if it narratively makes sense, and I have never liked Raimi's style when it comes to non-horror things. Please, Marvel, do not let him do Secret Wars.)
C-tier: 52-41 (Mediocre. I Am Groot is pretty fun, I just can't place it any higher; I wouldn't call it mediocre though. The Marvels and Iron Man 2 are very close to D-tier, but are saved by a really fun cast in the case of the former, and a really good Tony Stark story in the case of the latter.)
B-tier: 40-25 (A lot of the MCU falls into this category. Everything here is kind of a baseline "good," though nothing extraordinarily great. I know my Love and Thunder placement is a bit controversial, but hot take: it's better than Ragnarok. The movie actually commits to being a full-on comedy, whereas Hela is an extremely tonally dissonant character in Ragnarok. I care far more about Jane's struggle in L&T than the death of Asgard. I will also die on the hill that Eternals would've been an A or S-tier movie had the 3rd act not been so underwhelming and generic.)
A-tier: 24-6 (Genuinely excellent. I know that, for a lot of people, I have Infinity War too low, but I've always thought the film was a bit overrated, even when it first released. Wakanda Forever would be S-tier if the 3rd act had been better and more emotionally satisfying, but man Marvel loves their dumb finale action scenes. The Jon Watts Spider-Man films are significantly better than Raimi's or Webb's, as they actually capture the spirit and tone of the comics and aren't campy or edgy misery tours. Luke Cage Season Two is one of the most nuanced things to ever come out of the MCU, and has easily a top-3 antagonist with Cottonmouth's sister. Also, I'd say that not only is Ms. Marvel a genuine delight, but it's one of the few Disney+ shows that actually worked as a 6-episode series and was paced properly. Moon Knight would be S-tier if it had more episodes like episode 5. I originally had 10-6 in S-tier, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that the top five really do stand alone. Consider 10-6 to be on the border of S-tier, then.)
S-tier: 5-1 (The most emotionally impactful and well-written stuff in the entire franchise. These are the projects that have made me genuinely feel something. Loki S2 was so imaginative and had maybe the best character arc payoff in the entire franchise, JJ S1 handles its nuanced topics so well and gives us maybe the MCU's best villain, Guardians 3 is the best Marvel, not just MCU, film ever made, and DD S1 and S3 are literally perfect; if Kilgrave isn't the MCU's best villain, then Kingpin definitely is. When I think of the most gripping scene in the MCU, I think of Matt and Fisk's final beatdown/confrontation in S3. The MCU has literally never been better than it was then, and I really hope that Born Again is a satisfying continuation.)

Mostly the finale wasn't as satisfying of a conclusion as I wish it were and you can tell that 9th episode was cut
But the Marvel Television ABC and Hulu shows are canon and have always been canon to the MCU.
I am a firm believer in that trust me, I just made it easier by doing everything on the timeline
"taika waitit's falloff has been hard since rangarok" Has it? Dude made one bad movie. Last Goal Wins was lots of fun and Jojo Rabbit is inarguably better than Ragnarok, as much as I like Ragnarok. Same with Rian Johnson, dude made a star wars film that *some people* didn't like (and pretended like every single other person in the world agreed with them) meanwhile he made several other great films before and after and people act like he's the worst thing to happen to film making.

I will disagree. From a writing perspective, Multiverse of Madness, Black Widow, Love and Thunder, the Eternals, Shang chi, and Antman are HORRID. Probably some of the worst scripts I've ever seen. They are passable if you pay no attention because the actors are doing their jobs, but the stories themselves are insanely bad.
