IAT applicants increased from 50k to 180k in just one year, I know most of applicants gave it non seriously but still it really degrade rank of genuine students who are interested in research. What's you opinion about preparation now? Btw If possible please interview student from Earth Science department, we are really curious about internships, projects etc under that department

Everyone like brilliant minds isn't it ? If someone is able to get a seat without being interested and if someone after being interested isn't able to make it to iiser then it's whose fault ? Im in kota and i know it really well that students doing jee prep only knows ki iit se package acha milega wo bahut jyada nhi jante ki unhe aage kya karna hai. They discover that during their college days. Isiliye unke liye research and knowledge important nhi bas iit milna important hai. Ab unko ye bolke ki iisc iisers nisers wagera me aik acha option milega without jee, without letting them know ki wo colleges research based hai, they don't guaratee a high package and itna exposure to hunt your interest in and out of academics nhi milega in these research colleges they'll surely give u arena to choose in the academics lekin usko chor kar baki exposure compared to iit is very less. Even these students don't want to study hard in college joki research mai honi chahiye. The students say ki abhi mehnat karni hai aur Phir semester exams se pehle padh lenge 3rd 4th year mai internships and placement ke liye mehnat karenge and rest they want to enjoy not go in labs. So don't unnecessarily push them. They will suffer. Iisc bangalore has a very tough curriculum compared to iits. That's the reason of suicide rates of students in colleges. Please dont increase them. Its a genuine request ki jo research mai aana chahte unke liye seats kam mat karo and do what u actually want agar iit chahiye wo life chahiye to wahi karo. There is no substitute to escape jee. Research institute will not provide u that.
kisne keh diya ki yaha exposure kam h IIT se?? aake kabhi campus dekho fir bolna kaisa h ..mai 4th yr me hu and yaha jitna exposure h utna kahi nhi h .. aur ye mai isliye bol rhi hu kuki mai IISER ki hu IISC ,IITD,NCBS me internship kar rkhi hu ! isliye ik the culture better...they give u 2 yrs to know your interest !! and 2nd thing Btech research degree h hi nhi !!! BS h research degree so agar tumhe ya kisi ko bhi research me jaana h then BS degree lo ..why r u running behind btech ?? Btech shuru hua h then ofc placement oriented banega ye department. and the most important one !!! STRIVE TO EXCEL!! agar tumhe research me interest h aur tb bhi tum research me non interested logon se compete nhi kar paa rhe ho then it's completely ur fault !
@@weird_anjalii didi I'm not complaining about the research institutes, there are lot of students who see these institutes and admission to them as an escape to iit jee prep but they think that they will do it as a substitute. That was a message to those students. I'm really sorry if that hurts the content of this video, this video is not compelling those studnts to join iisers to escape jee. Bahut saare channels are there jo ye bolte hai so that was the reason. I'm really sorry didi i didn't want to hurt a research student. ❤ I love science and also want to join research colleges mere liye iits se jyada upar hai ye. ❤
@weird_anjalii that means BS is not similar to Bsc honors like in other institutes .. So for example if we take chemistry , chemistry me more industrical specific hoga jaise btech me or pure chemistry jaise organic etc..? Pls didi clearify it , it's bit confusing for me 🥲
Wow today feels like "A Post Diwali Gifts Day from the Indian Institutions" because in morning I got to know that IITs have increased no. of Attempts in JEE ADVANCED & in evening I got to know about IISER Bhopal Launched Engineering programs. Aspirants wil be like MAUJA HI MAUJA... 😂😂
I would say to go for IISER ! I agree IISER is poor in terms of placement and it's true. But brand value of IISER is high and as it's a research institute u can't judge on the basis of placement.
