What an awesome video! I love your persistence and positive attitude! I learned a lot. I've been sewing for a looong time, but I've always been too afraid to attempt fly front trousers. You've really inspired me! Your jeans look great on you! Well done!
The amount of times you said “hungry bum” made me giggle childishly. 😂 Anyway, thanks for sharing your makes and modifications. I’m hoping to sew a pair of these at some point. 🤞🏾😊
Oh it made me giggle too while I was editing🤣 but seems like the best (and funniest) way to describe the issue. I hope this helps you on your Persephone journey😊
Yay, thank you for the hungry bum tips! I have made several pairs, but always end up with hungry bum/crotch pain 🤦♀️ gonna try these last two mods soon!
I made several pairs of these a few years ago. I also struggled with modifications. I love high waisted pants/slacks because they are figure flattering. Thanks for the back rise tips. I wonder if shortening the front rise and lengthening the back would solve all the fit issues. Mine are all a bit long in the front but short in the back. You've got my wheels turning for when I make some new ones for Spring.

Happy to hear this was helpful😊
What kind of edge stitching foot did you get? You’ve convinced me to get one
It’s just a stitch in the ditch foot- I got it off of Amazon
Toile (French) pronounced twall, as in toile de jouy
@@johannechampagne7332omg yes! I just learned from a friend the other day that I have been pronouncing it incorrectly this whole time🤦🏼♀️
Do you know that you aren’t looking into the camera?
