That Gretsch…is so cool… It looks too pale in that lighting to be the Professional series MY (might be wrong), and if it is the CS…you spent a lot of money on something that looks like it’s really worth it. Just know I’m so jealous I want to cry.
@@catlikemeew thank you so much! It’s the regular signature model, not the custom shop haha. I switched the pickup and put the dings and scratches on the guitar myself to make it look like the custom shop version. Maybe one day I’ll have the money for the custom shop version, who knows haha. Gotta dream big!
@@catlikemeew do you know any who would? First Pickup I swapped for was the SoloDallas SDF63, now I have their SDF76 Custom. It has a little more power and body to it than the 63. I’d love to have a White Falcon with the 63 in it, that would be a dream come true!
@@TheLucasMurphy That’s the pickup I’d go for too. As for the luthier, David, over at Mal Practice (the YT channel), had his built by this guy in the UK, I’ve seen a couple of people asking him, and he usually tells them to just send him an email, and he would forward it. I thought about asking, but I never got around to it, also, I’m kinda paranoid.
@@catlikemeew that’s wild! If I wanted to, maybe my luthier who built my SG Custom could make one as well, but the next guitar I’d like to get would be a White Falcon.
Awesome tone. Are you using the Ox as an attenuator or as a speaker emulator? Curious your settings if so. Also on the C to G transition on Angus’ part are you fretting both low notes of the G chord (G and B) or just the G and the A string muted? Andre’s video has him playing both notes
The OX is used as a loadbox only. I used SoloDallas IRs for both guitars. And I mute the A string, actually playing the B would sound wrong to my ears. I never play it when playing an open G chord
I thought same until I saw Andre’s video and I’m pretty sure the B is played. For sure in the studio. Just wondered how you were doing it. m.ruclips.net/video/_QirBXgiySc/видео.html
Excellent cover! That gig was awesome, they played some Bon classics and had great energy.
Thank you! Yeah, I absolutely agree. That intro was what caught my attention as soon as I heard it the first time. So melodic

Yup.
There are also people who would make one basically identical to the real thing.
What pickup did you swap for, btw?
