I’m absolutely bowled over by this video. After watching countless fishing tags I can honestly say I have never seen anything as top class as this. Everything about it . The venue , obviously a great angler, but the camerawork was beautiful. Normally quality like this is filmed in a green room. Awesome 👏 Thank you so much for sharing this 👍
Hi you may have put this out there years ago but I have just bought myself a pair of perch rods and I'm just searching the web for so called tips on catching those beautiful perch came across your video what a session you had. Many thanks for sharing.. Ps better late than never.. To view cheers..
Hi I fancy giving this stretch ago you mentioned the river is up stream of Shrewsbury what areas is this I fancy giving it a go next winter. Cracking video and what a Perch👍
Enjoyed that, thanks. So is that split shots on the line? And I guess u keep the worm just off the bed and let it drift down? Dyou check for depth? Forgive me I'm a beginner 😬
Hi mate, you can use split shot, i prefer to use an olivette. You want the worm just kissing the bottom everynow and again. In saying that though perch like slacks so where there's no flow you can fish it slightly over depth.
Me and a friend only fish with the float and worm on our local canal we only stay in each swim for five minutes and only fish where the cover and structure is we cover a good 7 to 10 mile doing this method. Done the soft plastic stuff but yet again it’s the old school method that smashes it

Very good video
Super!
What rod is he using ?
Awesome buddy…
amazing video ! what is your rod and reel set up for this fishing technique ?
The rod is a Korum 13ft Glide power float rod. The reel is a 3000 size Korum Axis reel.
What size hook for perch?
Newb question, are you letting the current bring the bait into the baited area or are you reeling it in?
Just letting the flow do the work mate 👍
Brilliant !
