I liked the scene with Andy and his teammates after the finish. It was nice to see Alcala, Boyer, Kiefel, and Pierce so happy for him. I had heard that Boyer was a real jerk, but he seemed pleased enough that an American besides himself won. Great post, thanks.
ta1920 he was something else that Lemond... so good he went over to Europe as a kid and dominated and had the best French team at the time take him on, soon eclipsing the best French rider on said team in Bernard Hinault, who was himself a TDF winner and all-time great
Right! That's how a cyclist who's not doped crosses the finish line. Lance Armstrong climbed like riding a motorcycle in the Alps and even breaking when making turns on steep climbs.
Wow!!Major flashback seeing this again!!! Great posting, thank you.

Man, I totally remember that race! Thanks for the memories!
This what a CLEAN winner looks like
Love Raul grinning at the camera in the team meeting
Haha, Bob roll's hairstyle is great!
Wow what a meeting. Bob Roll would rip the eyes out of any Euro who messed with Andy.
Bob Roll totally became the equivalent of a hockey enforcer for this stage!
7-ELEVEn. BEST TEAM EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
The 7 eleven's were the shit!
Jonathan Boyer at 5:32 "it'll be nucular" LOL! He could be president!
nice of them to bed John Tesh's "Tour de France" soundtrack behind the Tour de Suisse lol
Ron K. "I saved the race." what a tool. y'all saved the race buddy.
Hampsten... best American climber ever?
Lemond was better. Hampsten was the best American climber in Giro history though.

That's how you should feel when you finish a stage like that. Not as LA did in all those years. He finished fresh as a daisy. Pffff.
