They were a clan that always wanted to stirr things up for no reason, and Tobirama had EVERY RIGHT to be cautious of them. But he treated them like family, like citizens of the village. He was even desperate to save Sasuke during the War, when the boy was nearly at death.
That arc made my favorite Tobirama. My dude created The Flying Raijin Shadow Clone and Reanimation Jutsus. He knew what had to be done. Plus his death was also dope he though it was off screen

The manga was different than the anime, if memory serves correctly Tobirama also defeated Madara 1v1 back in the day. Madara’s fight with Hashirama was close in the anime but in the manga he was NEVER even a challenge for Hashirama in any of their fights. Not even close!

I’m actually seeing a theory that it was Kakuzu who killed him. After all, Kakuzu was sent to assassinate him at one point, and he does claim to have fought him so he definitely got close enough to have done the deed. One of the advantages of Kakuzu’s heart-stealing is that he gets the chakra natures of anyone whose heart he currently owns, so maybe he grabbed some hearts that let him create jutsu combos effective against wood style. It’s all conjecture as everyone who would know is dead, but it’s a possibility.

I get it you like Sasuke but you miss a few important aspects here. First of Tobiramas arsenal is VAST. Alot of Jutsu we know of he invented, besides he was the one figuring everything out even quicker then Minato when they all fought Juubito. So his intellect is defenately higher. His finger lift despite being an edo shows the Senju clans gift of Hagoromos physical strengh while uchiha get the eyes. Given his mere presense makes effects the enviorment. And the Senju would hardly rival genjutsu using extreme reactive Uchiha if they didnt all have inherit strenghs that match that. Tobitama was also WAAAY more skillef fighting warforged Uchiha. While Sasuke never faced a single Senju. Tobirama is also extremely fast. His feats when using FTG during the 4th war and fighting in general arent that much slower then Minato. But Minato is 100% faster then him. But not by that much. The distance also plays a role. As for Taijutsu we cannot accurately measure it as we dont have a whole show wich features Tobirama remotely as frequent as Sasuke. But the fact he never used Swords as Hokage and ran unarmed against an army plus Ginkaku and Kinkaku at least shows it must be decent. Adding that raw strengh one finger displayed clearly is deadly. So very fast, very strong. Highly intelligent expirienced war veteran wich knows more about the Sharingan then Sasuke himself at a close distance. Wich means hed hit Sasule before he could even react. And if he hits, he hits. Even if thats not enough this one is edo so he reforms and can ignore basicly anything. Also infinite explosive tags and other crazy techniques. After Hagoromo gifts him his power thats a diffrent story.

The manga was different than the anime, if memory serves correctly Tobirama also defeated Madara 1v1 back in the day. Madara’s fight with Hashirama was close in the anime but in the manga he was NEVER even a challenge for Hashirama in any of their fights. Not even close!

after all Hashirama is a pure Senju who are known for their longevity (look at Tsunade still looking 30 at 70, Hashirama could have the same level of regeneration without any Jutsu according to Madara, the dude could have been alive during Naruto's era if he wasn't killed
Hashirama wasn't killed in battle. He either over used his healing jutsu and faced its own consequences, or of old age willingly. There is no freaking way he could be killed by someone, dude got healing technique on another level and literally he's unstoppable. Too op to be killed by a ninja. I’m actually seeing a theory that it was Kakuzu who killed him. After all, Kakuzu was sent to assassinate him at one point, and he does claim to have fought him so he definitely got close enough to have done the deed. One of the advantages of Kakuzu’s heart-stealing is that he gets the chakra natures of anyone whose heart he currently owns, so maybe he grabbed some hearts that let him create jutsu combos effective against wood style. It’s all conjecture as everyone who would know is dead, but it’s a possibility.

I get it you like Sasuke but you miss a few important aspects here.
First of Tobiramas arsenal is VAST. Alot of Jutsu we know of he invented, besides he was the one figuring everything out even quicker then Minato when they all fought Juubito. So his intellect is defenately higher.
His finger lift despite being an edo shows the Senju clans gift of Hagoromos physical strengh while uchiha get the eyes. Given his mere presense makes effects the enviorment.
And the Senju would hardly rival genjutsu using extreme reactive Uchiha if they didnt all have inherit strenghs that match that.
Tobitama was also WAAAY more skillef fighting warforged Uchiha. While Sasuke never faced a single Senju.
Tobirama is also extremely fast. His feats when using FTG during the 4th war and fighting in general arent that much slower then Minato. But Minato is 100% faster then him. But not by that much.
The distance also plays a role.
As for Taijutsu we cannot accurately measure it as we dont have a whole show wich features Tobirama remotely as frequent as Sasuke. But the fact he never used Swords as Hokage and ran unarmed against an army plus Ginkaku and Kinkaku at least shows it must be decent. Adding that raw strengh one finger displayed clearly is deadly.
So very fast, very strong. Highly intelligent expirienced war veteran wich knows more about the Sharingan then Sasuke himself at a close distance.
Wich means hed hit Sasule before he could even react. And if he hits, he hits.
Even if thats not enough this one is edo so he reforms and can ignore basicly anything. Also infinite explosive tags and other crazy techniques.
