Totally amazing, there are truck dealerships that can't get this right, even after 10 tries.

Most likely you have to replace the purge valve. Sorry for the delay
I’m being told I have to replace my 1-Box. They have pretty much replace all the major components in the box, the harness, the def dosing module, the sensor, the filters twice and I’m sure a few other parts I’m forgetting to mention. So Detroit is saying to replace the whole box now.

Freightliner told me I needed a new one box.
Freightliner won’t clean doc, they always make you to buy a brand new one, even if it can be repaired by a third party vendor.
Freightliner is telling mine is bad, $24,000 to replace. The say my scr test showed 55% efficiency, and that my filter are cracked. The turbo was leaking oil into the DPF and took down the filters, there’s no oil in the box.
This was a good video. My husband and I used our savings and bought our first truck in November and in December our truck ended up in the shop because they told us our one box needed to be replaced and it's been there for now 3 weeks and we are losing money daily not being able to use our truck. Any suggestions where we can take out truck to get the one box looked at? We are in Arizona. Thank you so much

Great video, im out of Virginia with a 2016 dd15 freightliner, was told my one box was going bad about a year ago, but about 5 mom ago I needed to start doing regns frequently especially with heavy loads, anything out of Virginia I could get assistance with similar to this because 1300-1500 is a lot better than 10k. Thanks

I can share the business with you! However, you should know that the company isn’t a shop, they won’t take your one-box off from your truck. They only clean the filter and fix the box. Make sure you have a mean of remove the one-box and reinstall it. Freightliner require an advanced software to input the serial number, you might have to go through a shop to do it if you have a freightliner. Otherwise, you should have a mean of reset your dpf system after cleaning. Good luck! Advanced Particulate Technologies

Freightliner thought my one box was out and they quoted me 10k. Im still having forced regen issues about every 2 days or less. Im on the fence about deleting it after watching your video on the subject so i dont know
Just get it cleaned like I did for this truck. It works well after the clean.
We had same problem it was a cracked box welded it cost 100 bucks to weld and replaced harness from one box to computer fixed problem

What would make the whole one box bad?
Sorry for the delay! Unless it is completely filled with oil or smashed from road damage, it can be repaired by a third party vendor. Freightliner won’t clean the doc, they went to sell you a new one box. We deal with a local vendor that repairs one box.
Where is the scr unit number located??
SCR is part of the one box. You can’t source it individually
@truckingandfixing ya I have a 2020 that the Detroit program on scr diagnostics has a option to ender the scr unit for its replaced just the serial numbers for the dpfs?

Good video but the 2 lines on the def doser are def lines not coolant. I'm not sure your diagnostic laptops capabilities but through diagnostic link you can run a doc face cleaning procedure it's essentially a 4 hour regen that cleans the doc. You may be able to avoid pulling the one box in the future if you're able to run it on your set up
Also typically when you see those docs get face plugged you want to start looking for upstream failures causing the issues, a good running system won't just plug on its own. I usually pull the 7th injector from just behind the turbo clean the tip with a wet rag and stick a long pick down the bore and clean any soot out. Plugged air filters and poor duty cycles can also be a culprit as well. If you can when running the regen after getting it installed watch the "actual torque load" values on your laptop if they're out of range high it normally indicates injectors are beginning to get weak and are failing
Thank you for pointing it out. You are correction about the def lines. I was thinking about the Volvo truck when I was talking about it.
