My favorite part of this video was that you were doing this amazing exploring with your son! Makes me look even more forward to the future adventures ill get to have with my little guy, yall killed it and it was an amazing video!
Agate Dad I hear you! That’s the benefit of watching and waiting for our children to get older, taking them on longer more difficult hikes and exploration. On the other hand, I miss when they are little.🙂
Ha, looks like Lennox creek, one of my favorite places. I spend alot of time up there. Cool to see you guys in a place im so familiar with, love the video content and nice finds👍👍
Would love some help finding the area. Took my kid to Hansen Creek but it's really not very safe for kids. Any hints on where to park and head from? Keep up the good work.
Its nice to hear aiden so interested in this with you. I'm continuing to take my 7 year old out every other weekend with us to hopefully make him more interested in it than fortnite. We did hansen creek a couple weeks ago also it was pretty nice.
Dirtbiketay Yes, Im glad you’re doing that. Rock hounding is a healthy pastime to connect with the outdoors rather than the fake reality of video games. Good job 👍.
I love how you and Aidan share a passion together, priceless! Again, nice finds!
WOW!!!! LOVE all those terminated points and clusters! Score, score, score!!
Nitty gritty rock hunting. Great roll model to your sun and others. Also you guys are lucky to live in such an amazing area
What an amazing find. Well done.
You are in my neck of the woods! Beautiful area and an endless variety of rocks and minerals.
The floater cluster at 9:10 is sweet! I use wooden skewers in tandem with the screwdriver to loosen vug clay...

what do you want with so much quartz? the points/crystals are cool but wont remain common for long at this rate. are you a seller of some kind?
I kinda enjoy that the greasy quartz look with some of our local material.
Looks more like the forestry service marked those trees to me.

If Hansen is unsafe then I wouldn’t recommend this area for kids. There is no trail and bushwhacking is the only way to go.
That's good size lode rock of crystals
Yes, I’m sure their were more in the area but hidden under moss and top soil.
prob but still good finds
i shared this one on nwrockhounds group

Nice work! Is this off of the road on the way to Goldmeyer hot springs? Looks like an area I’ve been to.
I need to make a friend close to Wapato that likes doing this type of stuff.
Awesome, take me with you 😂 or let me know where that area is if possible
