Fake news, whenever I lose it’s my team’s fault and because mm hates me and because my team gets 2 suicider silvers and they get a double legend platoon pro players
Lengthy but really insightful. I do miss a section on tanks that that didn't make the shortlist and why, like a BZ, K91, E3, ... Tanks that are or were not that uncommon in an Onslaught line up but aren't on your go-to list. Secondly, the couple of replays you showed at the end were a step in the right direction already. And even then I think there's a lot that goes unsaid like saving the friendly oneshot T57 from getting murdered after unloading his clip, and many other micro plays. Anyway, as a bronze silver player, I think I play fairly decently, but I have very low tactical and map insight. I feel that is where my need lies in order to improve.
The BZ is worth mentioning especially on Westfield and Cliff, K91 not so much and E3 is pretty situational as well. In terms of learning about more map insight it'll only be really useful to you at the higher ranks, since at the low ones its just drive in and fight most of the time. That being said, I'd recommend watching streamers play if you want their links we have a streaming channel in dc, otherwise we will be making another one of these kinds of vids in a few days. Thanks for the feedback and good points! Micro plays definitely do add up to winning and losing a few more games here or there.
Appreciate the video, but the tank means nothing if you can't put it to good use. Would love to see some map guides! Especially for lower ranks, although I understand why no one makes that content.
I've been playing the panzerwagen with good success, its dpm and recon plane make it a strong sniper (lol) but its also great in short range if running the radio set. Gone are the days of insta-plane though, similar to you guys I don't recommend it in general. Basically its a leopard 1, you will struggle to pen if not flanking though. I've been falling in love with the E-50M as well, pretty solid tank and it can bully all the non-assault mediums with a quick ram and ability, but unlike 430U I love its accuracy and its a bit faster. Watching your gameplay with 60tp, I need to start firing more ap, but I'm not that good in heavies or slow firing tanks. Edit: Currently silver B, climbing steadily w 60% solo winrate
Congrats! Sounds like you already got a pretty good understanding of the mode hopefully you can get to champ or even legend. A lot of people prefer the e50m due to your handling outside of your ability and apcr. At the top level the light is super important to make sure you are contributing directly into fights at close range as well which is a hard skill to master to really get the most out of it.
@@NA_WoT this^ That is my primary weakness and I do struggle with actually being in the fight, its easy to go too wide and encounter nobody. If you're "lucky" and find 2-3 players, a good team will notice this and push, My favorite maps are Glacier, Ghost Town, Sand River, Redshire. Just don't be "the second light." A lot of players will not have faith in your skills, especially as a silver A now hah.
Yeah, the other problem is if you plane at the start most people don't know how to interpret the info, especially since the plane is a lot harder to hit 7 now :(
One thing i found is the Błyskawica can also work really well depending on the map, because its so easy to be top on damage that even in a loss you wont go down as much. It becomes less useful in higher ranks because people focus you but it can you to silver/gold pretty easily
Against all meta tanks they all have weakpoints that are pretty thin, thankfully its not like old 15v15 meta with 279es then the blysk would be suffering
If u don't have 430U like me u can use free 7v7 E50 M. It's still great option. I just reached gold with this tank. I was also palying 60tp, but Im pretty good player I would say (around 2.9k wn8 after last 1k battles)
Biggest thing is the sound. Your volumes being different makes this hard to listen to. I know this is your guys opinions and they are good ones. Many player may not have the tanks let along have played the tank enough to have the modification done and crews skilled enough. These 2 things matter so much more now then they have in the past. The biggest thing I can say to take away from this video is be attentive to what your team is playing. Compliment thier choices but use good effective tanks. Minimal awareness is huge which most bronze and below players don,t have and a lot of silver players. There are some good alternatives tanks. If you don't have the 430U or E50-M (you can play the rental with no Mods tho) is the T62A yes it not as powerful as the 430U but it's ability to "Inspire" all players on your team, includes you, can help just that little bit and you get points to filling it up when someone does damage while it's running. Any Auto loader takes skill to play, this includes the Prog 65t. Lights can be effective but knowing how to play them well matters. Heart TD like the JPeg are bad due to their slow speed and long loading. Yes you hit like a truck but now the enemy can rush you and crush you. Over this video is insightful. Just got to remember that Legends are really the 1%ers or WoT and Champs are the top 3-5%. Video thoughts. If your doing the talking thru Discord remember you can have "Private" calls also. It will keep people from entering you room and having to kick them out.
Thanks! Yeah the volume was definitely a little scuffed. Everyone can use the e50m 7v7 rental version this season so no reason to downgrade and play something like a 62-a. If you don't have a german medium crew already then maybe onslaught is too advanced for you and you are still unlocking t10s, etc. You do gain a lot of XP in the mode so if you want to work up a crew in the E50M 7V7 you can do that also. I do agree that perks are very strong, even before this update was released. Unfortunately getting perks takes forever still. Would be cool if they started with 2 perks per tank or especially on the onslaught rental ones.
Was the easiest thing I could find since I don't have powerpoint. Googled a few tier list makers but they were all sketchy/garbo. If you know something better pls lmk cuz I know it looks a bit scuffed D:
Yes, sacrificing any sort of mobility, armor, ability to impact a game to just bait and do damage as your team dies in a mode where the most important this is winning is garbage.
@@NA_WoT i can still play as a teammate, cleaning several low hp/finishing one half hp instantly is great, reload time is fast for an autoloader, im faster than 60tp. t57 is good
I agree to disagree. Maybe you see something I do not. From playing a few thousand games every season that tank is not the best tank to be playing ever. If you are good enough to be consistent in that tank, then you are missing out on actually making plays to win the game. I understand some people just like to look at DPG and the 57 is great for that. However winning is the most important part of onslaught.
stopped playing that junk. many times lights and meds sitting in some white circles gaining what and totally missing that they supposed to support the slower mates, because the red faster tanks did not waste their time in gathering what. They just attack the slower tanks and win. Then there is this sucking gold ammo issue. In times of basically nobody uses gold (sometimes late night) the mode can be fun, but all other times it is BS. A slot machine which feeds WG.
you guys sound like millionaires giving advice on how to be frugal with analyzing the bronze meta. The bronze/low silver meta is to take 7 tanks and ape the offside strike. V4, 430U, Foch B, and maybe batchat or t57 if you're a tealicum. Don't ask me how I've acquired this information, just take it. My #1 pick would be V4 because at this rank people legitimately can't pen it if you wiggle. edit: I disagree with telling anyone at any level to play the 705A. If someone is watching this video to learn, they don't know how and when the 705A is useful
@@NA_WoT bruh at bronze/early silver you are trading with 1600 alpha. If you know how to play trades like idk 60% of maps you just trade with 1600 alpha (in ~3 seconds) and 3.3k HP. Also it has 3.3k DPM so if you know how to setup a basic trade and not just sit in the open vs. a 5k DPM 430u/e50 then it's all good. I am a T57 ENJOYER (at mid ELO) so don't come at me with this T57 HATE
I agree with this upon the condition you are at a rank where you are way more skilled than the people around you. But at that point its still safer and more reliable to just play a 430u and actually be able to push as well. 99% of players cannot play it to its maximum potential nor with consistency. Especially past any rank where once again, its just more efficient to play a 430u
I just prefer to have HP to be in a decision making position after the first random pubby dies at low elo, in a 57 you cant always do that and you are also slow. I'd say try the Foch B if your goal is to find a solo pick. The 57 should primarily be used to push together or cover teammates. Its definitely one of the worst tanks for going and taking a 1v1 even if someone is isolated and they are terrible they will trade a lot of damage back onto you since you cant run and you cant 1 clip them + you have no armor
I mean.. playing in a platoon automatically makes the mode a 1000x times easier. Playing it solo doesnt work the same way and all the info in this vid sadly doesnt apply. Either your team wins or loses - you cant control the whole battle alone. One thing they made even worse in comparison to ranked.
100% not true. Playing in platoon means you are forcing yourself to be against stronger players. We talked in detail about the difference in matchmaker and playstyle if you are duo/solo. You are not expected to control the whole battle as a solo because normally there is a duo on your team. You have 100000x more influence in this mode than in ranked.
@@NA_WoT Nah, there are 6 more players in the team who can fck up, with a coordinated platoon mate it is basically reduced to 5. I play solo 2,8k overall wn8, 4k recent and i struggle to hit gold. Maybe in higher ranks the "just do your role well" applies but in silver or lower you either win or lose. You can influence how many points you gain/lose tho, i'm still ranking up while having sub 50% wr. P.S. The meta difference between lobbies is drastic, after escaping elo hell, you basically need to relearn what to do.
Right it depends what elo you are in which is why we talked about if you are at the top of your team list you will have impact but also the matchmaker works in a way that you can easily pull way higher duos so you will probably do less
+1 for hockey dropping "win condition". IYKYK. and 60TP is absolutely a solid pick. You take your 3.7k HP and just play. You take a jag shot and laugh.
