This is really neat. May I ask - this looks like traditional pseudo 3d, but is this actually using 3D walls? I'm asking since some bigger rooms have wide view and pretty long draw distance for such system, so it looks like it is 3D, yet ceiling and floor looks static like in old blobbers. Anyway, really neat stuff!
It's all 2D sprites, and yes I want player to be able to see much more than in traditional dungeon crawlers. You can also pan the view left & right but I did not show that (I forgot about this all the time).
